I use a product called mountain shine. It's an aerosol spray it on and walk away. Works great on plastic vinyl rubber leather. And it last a long time

I googled mountain shine to see if there was a comparison to TC Black Fusion. The results were some country music bands and lots of moon shine lol.

Changed the little gear on the speed sensor, so my speedometer is accurate again since I went with a bigger tire size.

Well I changed my non working maker light. After 3 led bulbs from Amazon I went to auto zone and dropped $17.99 on a 2 pack of sylvania zevo 194 led's see how long these work. Gathered up some parts for the white one.

Topped up the radiator reservoir, as for some reason it got right to the bottom over the summer.

Topped up the half qt of oil it'd used too.

My heater control valve decided to start puking coolant this morning so I went to Napa and got a new one and a gallon jug of coolant and changed the valve when I got home.

Some people refuse to acknowledge that old wives tale of 3k oil changes is just a good way to waste money

It's the way I've always done it, since I run conventional oil in it.

Typical American driving actually falls under "extreme driving conditions" in most manufacturers handbooks (hence the traditional 3k) - however, all engines are different.

I only base mine off the UOA samples i submit to Blackstone Labs.

From both my ford owners manuals
"Moderate to heavy load or towing.  Mountainous or off-road conditions.  Extended idling.  Extended hot or cold operation.  High engine speeds and loads, engine braking and hard cornering."

I don't meet any of these.

We go 10k on the diesel, 7k on the mustang, 5k on the ranger and annually on the toys.

I took it off the charger and pulled it out of the garage where it has been for the past 12 days while I have been in New Hampshire.

In the last few weeks, front wheel bearings, front brakes, new outer tie rod ends, transmission cooler lines and fittings replaced.

Well yesterday when I got home from work I pulled into the driveway & step on the brake & the pedal went to the floor. I checked it out & found the steel brake line right where it connects to the soft line to the r/s caliper has rusted through. Thanks to NJ & all the salt & salt brine solution they put on the roads in the winter. Fortunately I still have some of the NiCopp 3/16" brake line laying around from the last time I replaced a brake line on my Ranger. Here is what I am using. I should probably order more of this since I still have a couple more lines that are still steel.

https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/635800/10002/-1

The lines I have replaced so far on this Ranger are the line from the junction connector under the drivers door to the rear axle soft line, both lines that go from the rear axle soft line out to both rear wheel cylinders, & now I have to replace the line from the 4WABS motor by the battery to the r/s front caliper.

Update; I cut out the old brake line I saved the fitting that screws onto the fitting on the 4WABS motor. I installed the fittings on both ends of the line & double flared both ends of the line. I installed & formed (as best as I could) the new brake line & installed the new brake hose at the r/s front caliper. I then hooked the line to the new brake hose & the 4WABS motor, filled the system with brake fluid, pumped the brake pedal & check it for any leaks. Then it started to rain so that was it for yesterday, now the brake system just needs to have the air bleed out. Once the weather warms up in the Spring I am going to replace the last 2 steel lines with the NiCopp lines.

Installed the running board I picked up for $12.50 at LKQ. Painted it in Harbor freight Truck bed liner paint. The end caps were missing but crazy price for OEM from Ford. Went back to LKQ and got some caps from a Nissan Xterra and oval profile was exactly the same but attaches differently. I cut a knotch at each side so it could seat into the tube and sealed it with silicone. Done one side but rain sent me scrambling before getting to other side.

Bled the rear brakes, went to do the fronts & the caliper bleeder screws are rusted solid in the calipers, so I had to order 2 new calipers.
