I never worried about the theft option as I never leave anything visible in the truck. And I park by more expensive vehicles!
I do not always use my A/C & like stated the rear slider works great to add to the air circulation in the cab. I also do not worry about the theft option with the rear slider as I leave nothing of value in the truck & if anyone wants to steal it is always unlocked anyway.
