They are into carb setups around here I keep talking 1.6l overhead cam efi conversions lol

Rotary powered Samurai on tracks would be a epic build. You could go carbed . Many different style manifolds . They have 4 barrel single carb Holley style manifolds to running dual vdub style Webber's . My dream build is a 3-4 rotor na build with itb's efi ,redlining at 10k plus ... someday ,once I'm tired of playin with turbos

He said ITB's...!!  I knew we were cut from the same cloth... lol

Outside of that. Freak storm that took out my 3 biggest trees on the property also flash-dusted my interior swap in progress with dirt and dust from 75-85 mph winds 2 days ago. Been so busy with   I only got the chance to vacuum it all out and apply a cleaning to all the plastics.   was in everywhere there was a crack. NEVER had an issue keeping the windows cracked with vent visors in 4-5 years and now Vegas gets a Haboo and trashes the interior.

As for my trees Bad news is I lost some sprinkler lines and 3 18 yr old trees that did well to provide some shade on the property and keep noise down in both directions. On the plus side, I got some kick ass mesquite firewood to dry out and cook over.

Dang! That was some storm! Sucks about those trees! Will insurance cover it? replace them?

Could be worse I guess you could have been under the bridge in Italy when the wind took that sucker out!

Finished brackets for suzuki snow track install, had to fabricate anti rotation bar brackets front and rear with the ability to adjust attack angle. I have done this for a few ATV's now this was my first Zuki! This rig belongs to my neighbor, now I want one really bad! It weighs less then 2000#! My 2018 Polaris Ranger Crew weighs 2400#....

Final fit and adjustment done, now time to remove, prep, prime and paint.

Welded to factory king pin setup, the whole bracket bolts in. One set of kingpins for tracks, one set for tires. Easy to change out.

Rear brackets:

Back on all 4's now getting some 1998 Ford Explorer cloth seats!

LED's look nice!
Do they throw light down trail as well as the halogens?

We cut an explorer in half yesterday. Here in Idaho no title = no crush. Unless vehicle is completely non "rebuildable", otherwise cut in half. So we have 4-5 explorers that get this treatment. This one done with a sawzall, next one we will be using a Stihl demo saw.

The LED's that I put in the fog lights throw the light about as far as the halogens that were in it but they are a much brighter & whiter light.

9006 fog lights are only 45watts, i upgraded to the 9005 lights that didn't have the light on the end of the unit -meaning it'll still work like a fog light, but you get 65watts of light instead.

I got these, used the little rubber ring off the existing bulbs on top of the rings that come on the lights, they fit perfectly in Ford's 9006 socket.

I was busy over the weekend. If your wife ever says it would be nice to have two black trucks. Smack her in the mouth

Fixed a huge hole in my bed cover. Cross stitched with 20lb fishing line, then went over that with E6000 glue that i spread out to look better than just a glob of glue and hold better (fingers crossed and prayers said) and spray painted black...seems to work. Not done too well, I was kinda wingin it.

Next to my keys for a reference of how big the hole was

Close up of crappy cross stitch, and the glue makes it look worse lol

I think that's a great fix. Keeps it from getting worse, maintains its usefulness, camouflaged it, and saved at least $300. I'm with ya.

Thanks man! I say it's crappy because it doesn't look good, but it does work. I drove it (80mph) and it held. I wanted to get a vinyl pool patch to do it so it looked "professional" but I wasn't paying $60 for a patch so I used what I had and thought would work.

What's this E6000 glue that you speak of?  My bed cover has a small hole in either side (where it creases to fold into 3rds). Unfortunately, it's right where it rounds around the aluminum frame. I'll have to completely disassemble it to try to patch it. Some type of pliable, waterproof adhesive would be ideal.

I emailed the company and I can get a whole new vinyl peace for $99 and just replace this one. I was figuring it'd be much more! Maybe I'll try to patch it first and get another year or so out of it.

This is the glue. You can get it at Wal-Mart, home depot, or Lowes. I used the white, not sure if it was a special formula. I can't find the tube. I would suggest stitching like I did (but better lol) then applying the glue. I'm not certain how strong the glue is by itself. Mainly did it to hide the stitches and to make the stitch waterproof.

Also, today I washed my Ranger and found yet ANOTHER treasure at the car wash....is it stealing if it was covered in dirt? :ermm:    First my floor mat now this! A TEXAS MAGNET!
