How much of the tonneau is in the bed? Aren't they a foot shorter than a short bed ranger? (the bed)

When these were new I was not a fan. I didnt like the way the cab transitioned at the bed and the bed seemed kinda short. After seeing yours and the one 410customs is doing they look kinda nice. I think the ones I saw were base models. I've also been thinking about getting an explorer so maybe I'm getting use to how ranger and an explorer might look together. Lol. I've never looked inside one though. If you could share some pics of the interior I'd appreciate it. Thank you for sharing.

First thing I thought is when you sell the expo invest in a gallon of round up for that driveway, you are supposed to see the cracks and not have to mow them.
I've tried that stuff it works for maybe a week or 2 then boom there back.

Mix roundup with 2-4-d at double concentration for both (use the mixable concentrate). Add a tablespoon of dish-washing liquid. This is for a 1 gallon batch. It will work within 24 hours and it will not come back.

Once it's dead n crispy torch it then sprinkle Casoron or a seed inhibitor every 90 days or so. Keeps my gravel drive strip looking new all year.

Really thinking of changing the name of this thread from little big truck to the money pit. If this thing wasnt in the shape it's in I would cut it up for junk. But I'm not giving up yet. Just rebuilt the front suspension with ball joints wheel bearings CV shafts shocks pads rotors calipers now the rear axle literally blew apart ring gear on 2 pieces spider gear and carrier look like you put them in a paper shredder. But I'll fix it.

Been awhile since I updated this thread. So I changed out the rear axle lower shock mounts and rear shocks. Along with swapping out the rear axle I switched it to rear disc brakes instead of drums. I installed a double din touch screen and changed the steering rack. So yeah I've been busy on this truck.

If you sell that sucker I got dibs!

The sport tracs have a power back window, the doors/door panels, headliner and trim plastics are different then the explorer, otherwise the interiors are very similar

I have knocked a bunch of projects out this spring so we can focus again on the Sport trac V8 projects (We are doing two v8 tracs)

Thanks for sharing! Keep it up it will reward you.. no way in hell would I go after the first year of the new Bronco/anything...

I will not get a first year or second year of a new body style or engine. I have had too many lemons that were first and second year models.

What is sad is what was the big 3 have more production outside the USA and you have foreign owned companies from BMW to Volvo that have assembly plants here in the US.

Sadly the Ranger has been assembled at the following plants:  Rayong, Thailand; Silverton, South Africa; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Wayne, Michigan, United States; Hai Duong, Vietnam. To add more insult the Ranger in Africa/Asia had very little in common with the vehicle produced in the America's past the name plate. Ford in Australia didn't bother with the Ranger as they had a Falcon Ute, sort of a Rancharo. Welcome to the global economy.
