What is sad is what was the big 3 have more production outside the USA and you have foreign owned companies from BMW to Volvo that have assembly plants here in the US. Sadly the Ranger has been assembled at the following plants: Rayong, Thailand; Silverton, South Africa; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Wayne, Michigan, United States; Hai Duong, Vietnam. To add more insult the Ranger in Africa/Asia had very little in common with the vehicle produced in the America's past the name plate. Ford in Australia didn't bother with the Ranger as they had a Falcon Ute, sort of a Rancharo. Welcome to the global economy.
