Funny thing, I had my ABS Sensor disconnected from the rear axle for quite a while, 2003 EDGE.
I think it was left off when the FX4 Axle was installed.
Yes, the ABS didn't work and I was having problems, looked more into the actual braking problems and found the disconnected sensor.
But, I didn't get any Warning Lights or code indication when having the vehicle serviced for other things.
I cleaned up the Connectors, connected the Wiring for the ABS to the rear axle, and Wham-Bam the brakes are good to go but nothing about the lighting.
Maybe I did the "BRP" and just can't remember. (BRP = Bulb Removal Procedure)
The Park Warning Light you mentioned in the OP, is that the Light that tells you the Parking Brake is engaged ?
If so, the switch could be the problem, as stated check the Wiring to and from it.
I have found sometimes when I do use the P-Brake, if I don't release the Brake and let it come up by itself and slam home, the light will stay on.
Who knows the switch may have just slipped out of position.
