I recently had a new fuel pump installed by my mechanic. They had to lower the gas tank to install it. This brake light problem showed up a few weeks later. Could they have weakened a wire? Anyway, I know just enough to be dangerous when working on the truck (other than changing the oil). This switch and wiring I guess I'll have to let a mechanic check out.
