Haha,yeah I saw someone do that round here, an FHA cruiser.

Anyway, seems (from reviews etc) that over half the users of the spray in stuff are morons.
Most don't prep properly, or at all! And that includes things like shaking beforehand to properly mix the solids that prevent what you're talking about.

I've seen many good applicants that haven't worn as your describe, its "easy" but it does take half a brain to do it right.

Well, that is quite true. Prep and a bit of common sense goes a long way. Since I didn't know these people (the trucks I've seen), I have no idea what their intelligence level is/was. :)

There is a review on Amazon I saw, the person was complaining it only lasted a week and was peeling off, all the commenters on his review and pictures he posted could clearly see his beautiful shiny blue bed metal where the liner had flaked off.

Sadly, that comment was based on a true story. Back in the mid-1970s, a relative and I had a body shop. My girlfriend's brother wanted to have some rust fixed on his 1969 Charger. I scheduled him in and he brought it by one evening and made the comment, "I cleaned it all up and gave it a good coat of wax this morning". Thought he was joking (he always kept it clean). As it turned out, it wasn't a joke... he actually WAXED the damn car the day he brought it to me. What a b*tch it was to get that Simonize off the quarter panels so I could get the paint to lay down! I could have killed him. Good times! LOL

My niece's husband has a Red Chevy 4x4. He scratched up the sides of it running it through the woods hunting. He painted the sides and inside the bed. He left the hood, roof, and tailgate red. It actually looks better.

Oh that's funny, I've seen that switch option in some light bar harnesses, I'm fairly certain it'll fit in place of the cig lighter (assuming you don't use it) that just unscrews.

I did it in a hurry. Was pouring rain when I finally got everything hooked up. And I needed to get to work so I had to get it out from under the pedals. I'll wire it correctly later on.

Curious to see where you put it - i have that same harness (i think) but bought a custom switch, planning to cut the dash where the 4x4 selector would have been.

But yours, i think it'd be great in the hole the cig lighter uses.

Not everyone has a big fancy shop and a butt load of spare time to do mods. The average Ranger owner has to get in mod time between life, work and sleep. She will finish it up correctly. Give her a break, man.

Butt load of time? I work 55 hours a week. My wife works 50. I have 3 kids, all in sports. Practices 3-5 days a week, games on weekends. PeppProp to maintain, pets, not to mention the fact I'm trying to balance moving to Virginia for a year in 2 months for work. So don't lecture me on busy life. Taking pride in workmanship is something everyone should do. If you don't have time to do it right, wait till you do.

I work 40 hours, am graduating a year early with 5 classes, my mother is sick, my dad isn't home. So kindly take your opinion and keep it to ya self. As i mentioned, temporary. It'll be done right when I'm not rigging it at 2am in the rain. ðŸ˜„ðŸ˜Š

OK I'm watching this thread even though I might not have time to do it right.
Dustin I understand your point but it isn't like she left all but 2 bolts out of the bellhousing or left the exhaust open under the cab because she didn't have time to put the rest of the pipes on.
I drove a 70 cuda for a while with an automatic, the shifter broke and I had 2 coathangers to the lever on the tranny. One would pull it to low, the other I would use to shift with since it had an awesome shift kit.
I was waiting on a special shifter to come in from Hurst to whatever shop I was dealing with in Detroit at the time.
Even though it was rigged you could not have kept me out of that car, 383 cop car motor, 5.13 rear gear, was a blast and I was young.
No harm done.
I will continue to be the peace maker I've seen forums go south quickly over little things like this.
If either one of you have issues I will be happy to address them in PM I am receptive.
