Yeah, i noticed they're all mounted there, with some exceptions - i did see somewhere that to stop the 'night blindness' of having a massive light shining on your hood, that it should be mounted so the light misses your hood.

A clean 20oz. soda bottle and a 2ft. length of rubber tubing will do the job for a single person bleeding brakes. Just make sure the bottle has enough clean fluid in it that it can't suck air back into the system and you're good. Of course, always follow the previous suggestion of doing the farthest wheel first, then the next farthest and so on.

Finished the re-keying of my truck.
Got the new ignit cyl from RA today and it took all of maybe 10 mins.
Although I now have separate ignit vs door keys, the good news is they will be half as worked/live twice as long as the original single key did.

All that's left for this round of maintenance is plugs & O2s....and my son is gonna do those.
He needs me to free up the garage so he can rebuild one of his 91 Prelude motors.......and that's not until he does the truck and his Mom's valve-cover gaskets.

Bottom line? Ya gotta have a plan.....and so far, mine's working perfect! :frd

I definitely turn heads with Tonto in town. Mainly dudes in stock Rangers who are drooling over him. (I like to think it is just him and not me ;) )

There are 2 Gawga's. The metro Atlanta area and everything else...
O'Reilley's has them on the free tool rental. Anytime I do a brake job I will get their power bleeder and 2 quarts of brake fluid.

The next round will include a bed-liner....either spray-in or plastic, not sure which way to go yet. Kinda depends on if I pick up a camper cover or not.
Have a guy that has 3 for sale for short beds. $50 ea or $150 for all 3.....and they look to be in great condition.
**Anyone local interested in one?**
Also, getting a set of wheels & tires for hwy/summer. {What years will not fit my '98?}
And.....as ever, will keep on the lookout for the buckets/captain's seats I want. ;)

Going nakid is better than having a plastic bed liner. The only bed liner to get is a spray-in. I have a rubber mat in my Ranger.

I did wonder about the plastic liner, i too am running a rubber "mat" in mine, i'll probably spray a liner in at some point.

Spray in is the way to go, I Sprayed the bed in mine with a DIY kit myself back in September.

Anyone used Raptor liner? looks like a good option.

Put more leather conditioner on the steering wheel, should be the last one now :)

Oh, i didn't cotton onto that, does the kit include things to spray it with? or what? I'm not sure what you do/do not get with these things. I have a compressor, but nothing else.

I used the black odometer and blank shift indicator. I'm happy with how it looks. My son, who the trucks for, love's it.

You need to buy the schutz spray gun separately as it doesn't come with the kit, they're relatively cheap though.

LOL Fair enough, MaXX. I have seen spray-on bed liner (both in the bed and actually ON the truck. It turns a dingy, dirty gray color in the sun and anything that rubs against it causes shiny lines, so after a while, it just looks awful.
