A clean 20oz. soda bottle and a 2ft. length of rubber tubing will do the job for a single person bleeding brakes.  Just make sure the bottle has enough clean fluid in it that it can't suck air back into the system and you're good.  Of course, always follow the previous suggestion of doing the farthest wheel first, then the next farthest and so on.
A power bleeder will flush a brake system clean though, with no real work
