I'm going to say this would have stopped your winning streak :(I did try this method after the wheel puller was no good, so i didn't have to make an extra trip to Autozone, but no deal.  When i did get the puller to work, it popped so hard, the whole thing (puller) blew off and i thought it had shattered!

Sorry ;)  at least you can see what you'd need to remove one now.
Bad news on the seat front, pulled my drivers bench this afternoon, i had planned on using the frame from the seat back on the new seats, but, it looks like i was naive in thinking the design hadn't changed in 4 years. (continued in the seat repair post)

Here's a little teaser, i'm still letting the leather conditioner soak in before i put up completed pics.

Yep I do the same thing.  Did that for my STi, our CLK, and when I changed the steering wheel on the ranger to a leather one... no issues or need for a puller.  Key point is loosening the bolt but NOT removing it all the way so when it finally gives you don't hit your face with the steering wheel...lol

To be honest, the first time I did it, I planted the wheel straight on my face. Of course, I was young and dumb (16 years old). Pulled the wheel on my 1966 Olds F85 to install my new Grant 3-spoke walnut wheel. Not sure if the scar is still on my chin or not. I bled pretty good! LMAO

I did the heater valve {4-hose} and the door locks today.
Took photos but my POS Kyocera Hydro cellphone didn't save them! :verymad

I was correct on the ease of install. Driver's took all of 5 mins. Pssgr side took about 8 mins because the slide/clip wanted a shot of WD before releasing. Total time for both: under 15 mins.
I'll be doing the ignition cylinder next {ordered it last night} because I'm having to play wiggle-the-key games. {All things considered, I guess my orig keys are shot..... }

The good news is, they made the ignition about as painless as doing the doors: Turn key to on/run position, push the spring-steel clip from under the column and pull the cyl....w/key in new cyl in run posit, reinstall, test and smile because ya did another good job. ;)

Took mine to the store today, filled her up with gas. Nothing exciting.

Been researching cruise control options as well.

Changed the rear drum brakes. Ordered the incorrect rear size to begin with so I had to exchange for correct 10" Drums, pads, wheel cylinder, and brake hardware. Bleeding rear brakes alone was a pain and I still think I may have some air in the system as the pedal feels light about halfway depressed. Going to try to bleed them again today.

You probably already know this but, FYI....start with the R/R wheel it's the wheel cylinder that's farthest from the MC.
When I have to bleed all 4 I go RR, LR, RF, LF.

^^ That.

Fitted other '06 mirror, clean backs of door cards.

Cleaned leather steering wheel (again) getting tons of gunk off - can't show new pics until i've finished this and conditioned it :(

Sprayed a little Fluid Film inside the door cavities.

Adjusted drivers door slam catch so it holds it closer to the body line, is actually lined up with the door lock and now closes far more smoothly.

I put on my rain suit and took a bucket of warm soapy carwash outside in the rain and soaped down both my car and truck. I let the rain rinse it off. We have had a slow drizzle since about 10am.

Oh man, that's a heck of a light bar!

I saw somewhere that you should mount it further back so the light can't directly see your hood (stops vision problems/glare etc) I guess the other alternative is a tiny shade stuck under the light bar.

Most light bars I've seen are mounted where Kaylee has hers. I don't know if there is a better position or not. Never had one, and since I don't go off-roading, I probably never will. Looks good, Kaylee. :)
