Nice looking truck Mike!

I filled my left rear tire again, leaks down to 15 PSI and stays.

I pulled the ladder rack off the truck. I haul more stuff in the air than I do in the bed.

The little girl wasn't running well and would stumble on start up, I checked a lot of things but no computer check.
I tried a few things but it was still a little off.
I broke down and took her to a local guy, who isn't too bad on pricing but does decent work.
$700.00 later, yes $700.00, the fuel system was flush and purged, the injectors were all cleaned and tested, all fuel filters were changed along with the Double Platinum Plugs, new air cleaner, and a Mobile one Oil Change with Motorcraft filter. (there may have been a few other small things but that most of it) !

To say the least I did a back step, but I did expect to pay through the nose, because in the 10 years I have owned her I have done only the very basic work on her. The work wasn't performed until we had talked so it is my fault but the outcome is what matters.

I think I am driving a new truck, I would say that everything this guy did, although costly, was needed and believe it or not I am happy with the outcome.
The cost, well spread out over ten years and it really wasn't much. I do thank God I had the money to pay for it !

Lived up to your title eh?  Lol.

I've paid people to do   on my truck.  Not that I couldn't for most of it, but they could better/quicker.  Nothing wrong with NOT doing everything yourself.

After a while you just want it done !  :cheers

Ya, I tend to wait for things to get better before I act !

Either way, she is running really nice, knock on wood, and I am happy, why buy another truck, this one is great !

I got paid on the 15th, and it included both raises i got.

And its not really a congrats thing.  The Mustang is in storage.  I leave for a month and then am home for about 2 weeks.  then I leave again, so rather than leave the mustang outside for a month, it went into storage early.

Hellooo everyone. I do apologize I'm scarce and only post randomly. Works been busy. But. That means more money for parts. While my dirt bike is getting more love lately. The ranger got some love this past weekend. RGB Rock/Wheel Well Pods. Fully Bluetooth controlled. $50 on amazon.  I love them. Florida has no laws illegalizing underglow or any under vehicle lighting. Frowned upon to be blue or red but I keep mine on solid purple/pink. Passed many state troopers. Not messed with me.

Funny how things recycle !
I can remember some people back a few years, well more than a few years, that use to do the fender well lights and grille lighting.
we had slang words for it but lets not scratch that surface !

Are you doing Grille Lighting too ?

I do like the rock light idea, do they do white also ?

I plan on maybe grille lights one day. And yes. The rock lights do go to white. I need to get a new light bar relatively soon. And I've got some other expenses to take care of before I do more truck stuff. Quad is getting new intake valves, cam chain, and some other engine work.

Amazon has some low cost LED Light Bars if you are interested.
I have a 30" Unit , not installed, but hoping for the best.
I need to get it on really soon to beat the Amazon Return Policy.

Hey, thanks for hopping back on. I was curious how the lift ended up. A couple of side pics to show how high you lifted would be much appreciated.

I swear I hate being mechanically inclined.
If I was your average American I would never notice it

I can't tell if I'm being paranoid or if the truck has developed bearing whine from the rear end.

Not.  But I also recently changed beds and canopy so I could just be earing more road noise.  This canopy is not insulated.

Well. Ranger is taking a back step in production. Was wheeling and steering bolt sheared out. No way to move the wheel so corner of front hit a tree. No airbags went off. And I was able to stop the truck in the ditch of the woods before hitting two massive oak trees.
Tow truck took 4 hours. So I cancelled it. Good friend of mine came with bolt and tools. Was out there till 4am. Counting my lucky stars as I drove to work today and made it out with just a few bruises from having my arms in the engine bay.
