Not steering damper - spring dampers - maybe you call them shock absorbers but the springs absorb the shocks, the spring dampers control the spring action so you don't bounce along the road.

They have seals on the shafts that can squeak - usually a high pitched chirping sound.

Shocks were changed out about 20k ago. I hit them with the lube also.

First time I heard it was on a show called Angel (a spinoff of Buffy the vampire slayer) and later in life (a couple years ago) when I got hooked on Dr Who. In the states I grew up in it was never used in every day language.

So the comment was humorous (which is an english word TRULY spelled english) but not meant as a joke.

I bet you don't hear it at the local walmart in oregon...

Traction bars work it seems . Burnin the last of the rears before tire swap. Next drift event in 2 weeks . Debating on a few more mods before ,or rockin it as is and doin after for next month

NoPower crossed my mine today, only because of my daughters taurus. I know that may sound strange, but the taurus has been in the body shop since Christmas. If it gose my way I may have a 3.0 for NoPower, Because if I get the taurus back I want to scrap it out after a transplant.. It's a long story on the taurus,

Spray a little lithium into where it enters the door. It's just plastic. It may be dry and creaky

Hmm, i'm sure i tried that, but maybe i didn't use lithium, silicone would be about the same.
Anyway, it might feel tighter the more 'pulled' it is, i'll give it go, thanks.

Since i adjusted the door catch, when the truck body warms up a lot, i can hear what sounds like the door ajar when driving over bumps - the panels line up ok, but seems that i need to adjust the catch further inward.
