Thought I'd start a fun post for the season.
What did ya ask Santa for, for yer ride.
After Christmas y'all can list what you did get.

Myself:

Dear Santa....how about the following? ;)
2DIN head unit w/bluetooth
Bedliner kit
Captain's/bucket seats
Cow-catcher for front for lights
Lights
Set of stock wheels & tires

I don't want much.....and much of what Santa doesn't gift me I'll get in the post-Xmas sales.;)

What I'd really love to find in my stocking is a F-R sticker.

Just a thought.......now I have a headache and must rest. :brute

Jim....I see you're in Ohio which isn't that far from me in north Ga.
I'm curious.....how do our trucks handle the snow? I have a feeling that we might have some more coming before too long........I hope, I hope. {Yeah.....I'm 61, but still love the snow as much as any 10yr old!!! }

Kevin I am in southern Jersey & we get our fail share of snow. I have been driving Ranger 4x4's since 1996 just take your time & have good tires on the truck & put a little weight in the rear over the rear axle (optional) & you should be fine. The key is drive slow & no quick turns or stops.

Unfortunately I haven't seen an amount of snow since I've had the 4 X 4 ranger but just the little that I have encountered so far there doesn't seem to be a problem. AND my front tires could use refreshing.

Did you order stickers? I know there was at least one person I overlooked :?

I sent you a message on the 11th asking what kind of 2nd mortgage I'd need to get my hands on some stickers. ;)

Hey, this looks like fun! Problem is, I never ask for anything for Christmas (just never have... even as a child). Things are pretty tight financially this year, so I told the wifey to skip me as there is really nothing I need. I will be interested to see what everyone ends up with, though! :)

Don't feel alone Michael....for several years our Christmasses were mainly for the kids and we'd get something for each other when taxes came in.

This year is the first year in many, where we are actually able to do most of the gifting that we want.
Retirement does have its benefits. ;)

With my bride retiring in July and divesting her Publix stock, we finally have a nice little nest-egg put away.  Plus, this coming July I'll be starting my SSI retirement so along with by bride's SSI we'll be fairly well set.  Took 40 years of working to get here but we made it! :)

That is awesome, Kevin! Due to some bad decisions and financial setbacks, this old boy will be working another 10 to 15 years (if I live that long). I will be 62 next month.

Something tells me that if Santa brought you a 27 yr old "Ka-utee" [Cutie] with pink hair, and 38 DD's, stashed under a Ford Tank top most days; you'd find a way to live those next 15 years ALL THE way to the fullest just to leave this world the same way you came into it if thats all you had left... ;)

LMAO  Twenty years ago, Santa brought me a 27 year old red-head Ka-utee with 36DDs.  I was 42 at the time.  Speaking from experience, doing that again would just kill me outright! ;)

EDIT: No, she wasn't wearing a Ford tank top. LOL

And i also made a mistake and forgot to remove some spacers from my wishlist, so i got those too (i did want them, but was going to get them from 12 North Industries on here)

I may also have ordered an EP27 and some amber front LED's for the turn signal/running lights.

I think that is on a lot of gearhead's dream sheet.

I have been reading about putting the VW diesel into a Ranger. The problem with that one is finding a engine or vehicle. People that have them don't want to give them up. My neighbor has the station wagon version with +300k miles on it. He just had the interior redone with new headliner, carpet, and new front seats.
