I didn't get it for X-Mas, and it is not in the mail, I wish..., but I really wanted a new Cummins Crate Motor, R2.8 TDI would've been nice !
I think that is on a lot of gearhead's dream sheet.
I have been reading about putting the VW diesel into a Ranger. The problem with that one is finding a engine or vehicle. People that have them don't want to give them up. My neighbor has the station wagon version with +300k miles on it. He just had the interior redone with new headliner, carpet, and new front seats.
