I know what you all are talking about, SHOPs suck.
You go there for a tune up, just how much can it cost... $800.00 later, OK it is running well at the moment (knock on wood) but it was still a shocker for me !
$2200, wow, not sure if I would have them do the work either, must have been the owner's college fund needed funding.
Shops are just thinking "we have financing" WTF are they thinking, $100.$110,$125 an hour, things just can't keep getting more and more expensive. Most people don't make enough to get by, how are they expected to put something away for the future.
It almost worth the money to buy a new vehicle every two years and have that bank payment, seems it would end up the same but at least you have a new truck to drive.

If he calls and says it's not ready or that what they did didnt work and they have to go in further, I wont have it but fingers crossed it was just a bad relay and Lola will be back to rock and roll.
