 So little clutch update...

I'm using the "infamous" f550 master with the ranger pushrod, 280z slave(7/8 bore)
The f550 has 1/8 inch more travel..
So..you need to take the safety clutch switch apart..grind an 1/8 inch of the plastic slider..and the back of the clutch peddle..
((IF YOU DONT GRIND THE PLASTIC AND BACK OF THE CLUTCH PEDDLE, YOU WONT GET THE EXTRA 1/8 INCH OF TRAVEL IF YOU NEED IT))

I do have an adjustable pivot ball on the bellhousing  that I can adjust to get rhe peddle to release qhere I want it to.. I may not have needed to grind on the clutch peddle,  an 1/8 off of it. Better safe than sorry

Does that wire continue up the column? I have 3 X 2000 within sneezing distance I'll go out and look. I have a wiring diagram also.

Anyone have in experience qith this more than me?? Injector guy is saying this...

Yes, these are the good ones. Genuine Ford Racing Bosch EV6 injectors. 30 lb/hr at 39 PSI. FYI, the 99-01 Explorers use a mechanical returnless system at 65 PSI. These injectors in that setup would flow a LOT more, and that would need to be tuned for. The 96-98 Rangers used the standard 39 PSI return style system, and these flow the normal 30.75 lb/hr in that application and requires just normal injector tuning.

FYI, we offer everything you need as far as tuning the EQEx computers out of the 99-01 and the 96-98 PCMs as well. We can change the injector size to proper Ford Racing specs in either computer, using either fuel pressure. But it's recommended on 99-01's with these injectors to put in a return style fuel system and regulate it down to 39 PSI (and tune to match).

We offer the PATS delete, performance tuning in 87 or 93 octane, and injector tuning you need.

Either way, you can pull the trigger with confidence on these injectors. They're EV6 injectors, but use the EV1 style connectors. Now the 96-98 have EV1 style (Bosch Minitimer) connectors from the factory. But 99-01 Explorer 5.0's had EV6 injectors from the factory that use the EV6 style (USCAR) injector connectors. So if you're using these injectors in a 99-01, you'll need either adapters, or to buy the connector housings and switch them over. These injectors have the rectangular Bosch EV1 type connectors, not the D-shaped USCAR EV6 type connectors.

why cant you get 30# injectors for the 65 psi returnless style system?

You are planning to run returnless.......... that is what your donor explorer had and that is what all 98+ Rangers are the 65 psi system one fuel line to the engine

THAT is centered on the valve stem for sure!!
I think you will be okay with the 6.75 rods, it is always nice to see your real world measurements match up with what Trickflow would send = re assurance
For the piston to valve clearance....not my expertise I would have to research just like you. But I can say at least there is clearance, Clarence

Yeah what I'm not sure of.. is do you add for the lifter hydraulics...when the plunger goes down.. or what.
This measurement was with a pumped(solid) lifter.. Ive red anywhere between .020-.050 you add.
I'll wait and make sure before I order them
