Thanks J. You've helped me so much along the way on  this build. I was completely lost on a lot of the wiring and brackets assembly . BIG THANKS TO YOU MY FRIEND!!!
NOW... to clean all the spaghetti up, put things in their resting spot permanently and get this sucker road worthy and tuned.

I went over everything a 100 times on the harness BEFORE  I depinned  any wires.. I must have took out, what, 60 wires or so? Rear o2's, all the automatic transmission stuff.  I dint want any ..." now wth is wrong" questions.. it worked out thank God and fired on the first lick..
OD is flashing.. Im sure thats because I took out the automatic stuff.. still have to get a  start up tune and all that stuff deleted out of the computer

Talked to Bob on the phone yesterday.  I bought the entire 3rd tube on the driver side header  versus trying to patch it up..so all  is on hold until that gets here. Then get the header repaired all the way from the flange to the collector.
I noticed the driver side valve cover is leaking oil..sooooo...off comes the upper intake  to get the valve cover off  to see whats up with that.

well done, I was gonna ask what you want for that "bad set" and then bend up a small tube and fix that SOB
Glad you are able to use it!
hoping oil leak is easy fix
Yes flashing OD light is due to no speed sensors or solenoids in the MIA auto trans

Went ahead and took the entire 3rd primary pipe out on the driver side.. was just to hacked up.
I've got the entire tube coming from Torque Monster and I'll have it tigged in.. then finish this truck up finally

Well J...lol
I cut the  tube off with a sawzall.. then used a diegrinder  to cut the welds off as close as possible. Then took a steel chisel and hammer to knock the  welds down inside the flange  where it was welded . Came out fairly easy. Then cleaned it up with a file. I cant weld..  but I know a local welder who can tig it up perfect once the tube gets here.

you could wrap them??
I have thought about that a time or two, some of the new exhaust wraps on the market are pretty sweet, volvanic rock instead of fiberglass....oooh la la
Wrapping the exhaust forces the heat to move downstream.....away from under the hood and away from the transmission

TMH may not be the easiest to wrap but it can be done

Glad to see this fded back up! Hopefully dont have to bring it back out.
I'm about ready to have the exhaust ran.. maybe end of the week ot beginning of next.
Tuner is working on a "drivable" tune right this second. Get that loaded into the computer. Then drive it some.. Im going to put a couple miles on to make sure it's in check before  it hits the rollers..

Ok gents... I finally got rhe header issue fixed.

Now..ive had to move the oil dilstick tube so many times in finally broke..yes in the block!!
 I'm  like sunuvabeech!!!!

Tried the hammer screwdriver method.. that didn't even faze the situation.
HOWEVER.. I found the ultimate trick. At least that I know of if the engine is in the truck or vehicle. I took an intake bolt and screwed it into the  hole.. got under the truck and took a screwdriver and a hammer. I put the screwdriver under the head of the bolt and tapped  up on the head . After about 4 or 5 taps.. it popped right out!!

LUCKILY.. I have an extra tube.  Everthing said a week to arrive. I dont have a week. Well I do, but I dont...lol

Now.. so I had to pull the upper intake off because the driver valve cover was leaking.  I had to modify the stock explorer valve covers to clear the stud mount roller rockers.
Well when I was measuring for the pushrod length I had to take off the pushrod guidelines to fit the pushrod checker in thw hole. No biggie. But what is a biggie is make damn sure you tighten them studs back to 55ftlbs!!!!!! I forgot to tighten them back down getting in a hurry .  I only started it about 4 times at 20-30 seconds a time and no revs. So no damage was done.

DO NOT GET IN A HURRY.

Something that simple could have somewhat ruined  a  se of $1800 heads, well at least one of them. Im taking the passenger side cover off today to check everything over since the upper intake  is off. Just to be sure.
Truck is getting (scheduled) exhaust the 21st.

Oh and I somewhat cleaned the garage up!.. It looks like a hurricane went through here!

wow wow wow that is clean for your garage, I know I have been watching!!
A clean work space is a productive work space LOL

Glad you got the dipstick bit out of its hole, plumbing the dipstick on these things with the headers it rather tricky that is for sure. Put some silicon on the end when it goes into the block for the final time.

Yeah man... its been a disaster area...lol

I thought I better clean up before something  happens..  and yes, putting silicone on there for sure. Ill.wait until I mount the header tomorrow.  I need to get me a heater for the garage..its cold now, but, I've got to get this thing done
