Did a search here and other places and cannot find the torque specs for the front caliper bolts and for the front caliper bracket bolts. Looks like my daughter needs pads and by the sound she is describing, probably she is steel on steel into the rotors. Would anybody know the torque specs for the caliper bolts and if needed the caliper bracket bolts. It is a 2009 Ranger 6 cylinder 4 litre I believe. Thanks for your help.

I know this thread is almost two weeks old and most likely the repair has been completed. However, I would like to add for future readers that for the BRACKET bolts, clean the threads thoroughly and use LocTite on the threads. My son (TheArcticWolf1911), had a bracket bolt back off and fall out coming home from work one night. This caused the caliper to pivot out when applying the brake and CUT the aluminum wheel in half. Destroyed two wheels this way before we found out what the problem was. In the dark, everything looked fine and we didn't notice the groove on the backside of the wheel... until it did it a second time with another wheel in less than a mile.

Michael, thanks for the info, I had the same problem on my wife's 99 Explorer Sport. Fortunately she was less then a mile from home when it happened but by the time she got home it already destroyed the wheel. Luckily I still had my old Ranger wheels which are the same ones she has on her Explorer.

I just picked up the replacement wheel this evening on my way home. Got a like new wheel for $50 exchange at a local salvage yard. I have a new set of Hankook Kinergy ST tires I'm mounting on the OEM wheels to get my AR172s off the truck during the salt and sand season.
