I used the same powdercoat on all my 4.0 brackets and, oilpan, timing cover, valvecovers. That is the sexiest color ever. Great build! Not a big fan of TF but they can make great great.

Decided to let a professional make the headers.  Dropped the truck off at “the works speed shop” in Jackson mi.  Should look like a truck again once it's done there.

oh baby I love this truck!! Thanks for sharing, keep it up!
Would there be any advantage to reversing the shackles in the back for better hook up on a rear setup like this?

I ask because I have no idea about this RWD stuff

My fav quote of 2018 thus far:

"Never thought I'd put this much time and money into a ranger. Let's hope it runs as good "

LMFAO!!! story of my life

I wanted a better type of “traction” bars so I went with the smith racecraft assistant bars with their new leaf perches.  I have a lot of adjustments and it's low

Thank you.  We got a little crazy/creative with the cage.  And I really wanted to keep the door panels so we had to bend the bars a little. I just need to find a new dash and it will be almost a factory interior.

Headers are done and wow did they come out amazing. They are going to need some fancy ceramic coating. I also ordered all of my ignition and working on ordering the new carb. Still going to try and get it out this year.

Dude those collector tubes are among the finest I have seen, headers are awesome.

Wait, why do you need O sensors or are those for pyrometers?

Those are for the wideband. Just something to help tune besides reading the plugs.  I need to see what I can do about mufflers.

The truck is home. Headers are done, time to start painting the cage and putting the truck together with all the new parts. Still going to try and get it running this year. Need to move a few things on the motorplate not that the core support is made.  Almost all of the fuel system is here or on the way, I'm making the switch to a big 4500 e85 dominator  and almost all of the msd is here as well

Started working on the rear brakes.  Low profile Pro street brakes.  Can't wait to start on the front ones. And I'm still looking for a dashboard or at least some options for one.

Not sure how I feel about those.  I'd like something a little more stock looking. Maybe a fiberglass 85/86 mustang dash. They are similar looking to a ranger dash

Started mocking up the front brakes. Might need a tiny tiny spacer but these will look amazing.  Need to change out the ball joints on the other set of spindles first.   Slowly picking away at it.
