 Purchased my toy October 2, 2017. Ran it for a week to find out i had a hole in my left Crankcase. Then the project began...


(Image of hole in case once engine was out of frame. Discovered frame is also vacant of a VIN or any serial numbers)

 Engine is apart.   ton of JB Weld chipping and over $600 in parts, she's ready to be put back together. Awaiting on more pieces and a $150 tool for the Crankshaft to be pulled into the case...

bought it $1500 cash off Facebook ad. Guy started it first kick, rode it and did hella doughnuts. No problem. I ride it and warm it up, bitch leaks. I buy a new seal for shifter side, didn't work. Took engine out. Discovered that.. I was pissed and beyond words

When the engine is closer to done, I am gonna deep clean and degrease the new frame. Know a guy in Tampa, FL who powder coats. Neon pink is the color imma go with

Have you contacted the person that sold it to you?  Since you said there was JB Weld on it, I'm sure he knew it was there!  Dick move on his part.

Well if the rest of it is in good shape you'll have a nice machine when you're done fixing the engine. Any other engine fixes/upgrades while it's apart?

New Nerf bar nets, new handlebars and grips, handguards, new exhaust system, already bought new front and rear tires. I wanna do this how I want it. Definitely will be a badass machine.

I agree!  I paid off one vehicle, then turned around and bought another after I swore I wouldn't. Oh well, it's only money right!   Can't take it with us when we die!

It has been a long time. I'm proud to say the engine is complete. I'm in the final stages of deep cleaning the old frame, new tires, and some other cosmetic stuff.

It's been awhile. A long while. So here's an update:
Ended up getting fired from old job
Finished school
Have new job

The ATV was put on hold for awhile. Until now..
The main transmission timing bolt backed out and slammed against the clutch side cover on the inspection hole. 
Oil leakage so I thought the engine was originally seized. 
Being how stubborn I am. I was beyond pissed. So I refused to look at it. 

Last week is when I discovered the bolt backed out, which stopped the crank, which stopped the engine. 

This little bolt actually saved me $400+

Should be running this week hopefully.
