I like the way it is coming together, mono-white should look good.
Sort of like the EDGE, mine being mono-E4 Red.

Waiting to see it all done.

Also, what is the Tint Level you used on the windows ?

Are there any restrictions in Ohio about tinting side windows ?

Thx / Ltr

I plan on painting the rear bumper and fender flares white. But I'm undecided on if I want to keep my flares or swap them out for the pocket style that the newer trucks have.

I think mono-white will look good.

The Flares, to me, the EDGE Flares look the best, not too big but big enough... and since you are going with the WHITE look the flares are going to blend in !

I never understand Ford and why they change things like Flares but they do, again the pocket flares look funny, the EDGE Flares are my way.
Everyone to their own !

My EDGE when I got her, mono-Red... I haven't put the flares back on the Steppie Bed, and the Step Bars removed..., gotta get to it !

Put a Gibson catback exhaust on. May buy a flowmaster for it. Not really liking the sound of the Gibson

The Steppie is another story... I just wanted you to see the shape of the DGE Flares, might not be your thing but they are clean looking and could work on Whitey !

Close but yours I think, are rubber, and the EDGE Flares are a hard plastic maybe fiberglass, AND if this is correct, the EDGE Flares will take paint easier.

I think the EDGE Flares have one smooth clean line from top to bottom and will blend in easier to the overall mono-white paint job.

Just me thinking out loud again.

Only problem is finding a set and making sure you get the clips in good condition; I have been looking or the Flare Clips for a while without success.

Your best bet is a roll of 3m double sided tape. That's what I used on my black truck

Do they make a 3M Tape that will hold the flares on at 65+ mph ?

Also, asked but got no answer and maybe you dont know, What is the percentage level of Tint you use on Whitey ?

Does you state have any laws about how dark the side windows can be ?

Well it holds emblems on and aftermarket flares use tape. And it's been holding mine on for a few years

The Edge flares are plastic. ABS if I had to guess.

The Edge flare clips are easy to find. At least they were for my 2001 Edge. I got a bag of 50 on Ebay for a good price. I just measured the holes in the fenders/bedsides and chose the right size of "Christmas tree fastener" on Ebay.

Also, when I was painting the flares, I scuffed them heavily since I was using bedliner, and then cleaned them well with bug/tar/wax remover, and I still had several little spots that nearly refused to take paint. It kept peeling away. It was almost like the plastic was excreting a small amount of oil or something. I ended up scraping the surface in those areas with a razor blade, using a method like you'd use to remove paraffin wax from windows. I went way past the original paint and in to the plastic, and they finally took paint well.

Bird76Mojo,
Thanks for the fix on the data, Truck looks great.

When I paint plastic I usually use an Adhesion Promotor by DuPont, worked on everything I have painted so far.

I do believe old whitey is going under the knife. I just purchased a donor truck for a mild conversion

Finally found a set of fog lights. Courtesy of the Lincoln Navigator I dismantled today at work. And I changed the wheels again... I need some opinions leave them black or paint them white?

They look like they will be great.

They just look like they put out a lot of light.

The Truck looks clean... have you done a V8 swap yet ?

To me black is a good contrast !
