For some reason I've decided to start a thread for my truck. Mainly just to display it and to help other members get ideas for their builds. I know it's not the best truck on the site but I like it. First off I'll tell you about the truck. I bought it new. It's a 2006 XLT 2 door ext cab 4x4. It has the 4.0l SOCH and 5 speed auto with 4.10 gears. It came with few options. A/C cruise tilt 60/40 split bench am/fm ce player that's pretty much it. Through out the years mainly just in recent years after I debated on selling the truck I decided to mod it and make it the truck I wanted minus the 4 door feature. List of mods include

Blacked out headlights with led bulbs
Blacked out grill with black ford emblem
K&N cold air kit
JBA headers
Color matched mirrors
Converted to power windows
White face gauges
Explorer heated power leather seats
Explorer full length console
Mercury cougar pedal covers
Double din touch screen radio with kicker speakers 1000 watt amp and 12" kicker sub
Tinted windows
FX4 Level 2 fender flares
Tried fold bed cover
Spyder LED black tail lights
Vtech 16" wheels 265/75/16 bfg all terrain t/a
Flowmaster dual cat back exhaust with 4" ss tips
Color matched interior panels
Expo IRS rear diff cover
Fx4 level 2 skid plates
Mustard gt rear disc brake conversion

But one of the coolest things is how you replaced the back half of the frame and I think it took you less than 2 days?

I noticed your seat panels are different than the other guys seat panels in the ROTM. Do you recall what year explorer or mountaineer you picked them from? Love the 2 tone as well.

I started it on a Saturday morning and by Sunday night it was on the road again. The only parts I reused was the shocks the rear axle and gas tank.

Did you do this post on your phone brotha? lol

  • Tried fold bed cover
  • Mustard gt rear disc brake conversion

just givin ya  . How did you like your JBA headers performance wise? Sound level wise? What changes did you see in those two things specifically?

I want to throw mine on but I am afraid and reserved that the truck will become too loud as aggressive as it is already and I'll be forced to do headers for the performance aspects but go back to a stock can to compensate for a little more stealth. I love my exhaust because its unique but then again i hate it because you can hear me coming from 5 acres away at idle!

Decisions, decisions..

Yea I'm fine and the truck is ok. Damage was just cosmetic. Broke the grill header panel and both headlights. New headlights were on the on the porch when I got home got a header panel from work that's already black and I'm putting my old grill back in. I had an stx grill in and I hated it. Got lucky on this time no damage to the fenders or bumper this time.

As many deer that has jumped in front of members we should start a deer hunter thread. We should make a special FR (tag) sticker for hunting with rangers. Like this but use an FR to make the head

Its moose season here in Idaho....they sure do come out of the mountains when the temps drop. I have not seen a moose since last spring and now they are popping up down here in the river valley alot
Look out for big game!

That is a heck of a truck you have there, so glad she has survived another deer attack!

Moose are freaking dangerous. They seem to have an intrinsic hate for humans and will attack and kill for no reason. They knock you down and stomp you till you are a bloody pulp. They don't stop at death, they dismantle you.

If my luck with this truck doesnt start to change quick I'm going to sell it. Hit a deer the other morning going to work and this morning going to work the right front hub bearing blew apart.
