If you live in the South or east coast top off your tanks and fill up any Jerry cans you have. Gas is about to get scarce. The pipeline company that runs all of the fuel pipelines from Texas to Georgia and up into New Jersey got hit with a Ransom-ware virus Friday afternoon.

So we should be focused on a sale of Rotopax and European style Jerry cans from Front Runner?   Got it..

Too late now. Stations are running out of fuel due to people topping off and filling  every available Jerry can they have.  The Atlanta market has a 21 day supply at the fuel farm in Doraville. The distribution by trucks is supposed to be maintaining normal supply levels but there has been a run on fuel and there are fuel stations out of gas all over the metro area. The Mom and Pop stations are limiting fuel to fill cars only. Things will normalize by the weekend.

I learned of the shutdown through a friend of my wife's who has a son that works IT for Colonial in Louisiana. His view is that they could remove and replace all control computers with fresh builds getting some pipelines flowing within 2 days and a full system replacement within the 21 day supply of Atlanta. The pipeline closure only accounts for 45% of fuel in the Atlanta area.  There is also a pipeline that originates on the SC coast offloading fuel from tankers. It runs through Augusta, Atlanta, Birmingham, and ends in Memphis.

I heard "State Of Emergency EXPANDS, Truckers Fear Supply Shortages With No Gas" as a title to an interesting topic but, as you said.

What I find fascinating is 4 years ago, we were told if we stopped drilling for oil on US soil alone, we'd have enough in reserves to last 30+ years at our current rate of consumption! I'm pretty sure with oil being whats called a "Futures" in the stock market, this is just another way of adding to the rest of the fear-mongering, propping up the Stock market & zombie companies that make up 30% of the fortune 500 now a days.

Just a little concerning coming out of the "Plan-demic" as we are, you got some ridiculous GEO-political tensions 360* of us that's escalated in the last month, the inflationary smiting of the economy, the woke-folk, government doing everything but what it was designed and meant to do.. 2001 definitely fast-tracked the   show we're in and sitting back watching the crab-in-a-bucket syndrome of society is wearing on everyone, myself included.

I still think;

This Oil pipeline is [punishment] to penalize Texas, Florida, Georgia, and the few Southern states abroad there for reasons we all know and some i'll leave for later conversation but at the same time I got to myself and start doing some researching and...... Low and behold

Michigan - Canada pipeline

Klaus Schwab, the head of the world economic forum is quoted as saying 10 months ago.

“We all know, but still pay insufficient attention, to the frightening scenario of a comprehensive cyber attack could bring a complete halt to the power supply, transportation, hospital services, our society as a whole.  The COVID-19 crisis would be seen in this respect as a small disturbance in comparison to a major cyberattack. To use the COVID19 crisis as a timely opportunity to reflect on the lessons the cybersecurity community can draw and improve our unpreparedness for a potential cyber-pandemic.” -- FULL REPORT: https://www.iceagefarmer.com/2020/11/

Sounds like a stage setting to me.

I also heard that the system plays off of like windows 95 or less, security by obscurity I think was the laughing mantra

Then you see crap like this where people in the energy sector, Energy Secretary Granholm, and I quote.

"Beyond whether or not you think your policies are to blame, are you worried that the prices could impact whether or not Americans travel, which is of course needed to put money back into the economy?" CNN's Jake Tapper asked Granholm Friday.

"People need to travel, you're right, but we need to get the virus under control first, we need to get to that 70%, we need to get to herd immunity," Granholm replied. "Why have gas prices gone up? Could that be because of the virus itself as well? Everything is tied together."

I'm all about that once in a long time fall down get drunk do dumb-crap and watch it all on video in shame because they got you recorded doing things you would never do - But

This ain't a red vs blue thing anymore, we're within a couple years of loosing this country we've all sweated, worked, bled, and even more died for... It needs to be done now otherwise THEY'RE going to take everything from us. Has to stop.

Toilet paper all over again .... people think only of themselves and the devil take the hindmost.

Not so much crab in a bucket as a flock of sheep with the media as the sheepdogs and politicians doing the whistling.

As for the cyber attack - why the hell are mission critical systems linked to the internet? Cos it saves having humans all over the country? False economy.

Today I saw a Marathon gas station open and the Kroger gas stations open. All of the convenience stores have their prices pulled down.  The few old fashioned gas stations have plastic bags over the nozzles.  I am not sure about Sam's, BJ's, or Costco.  I do know Costco had a 2 hour wait for fuel and they kept the pumps open later than normal last night.

The gas pumps that did have fuel also had county police on site directing traffic and keeping order.  Supposedly the Colonial pipeline is operational. They do not say what level they are operating at. On a typical week day  I will see five or six tankers delivering fuel to various gas stations in the area. I saw 4 yesterday and 1 today.  There was at least a 21 day fuel supply at the fuel farm in Doraville last Friday.  Even with a run on fuel I can't see this level of unavailability. I believe something else is adding to the problem.

I have not seen a gas station in my area (Dallas) without gas or shut down. Hopefully that doesn't change. Prices have gone up ¢5 though.

The extra people get for unemployment makes it not worth them going to work. I haven't seen this many help wanted signs since 79 and places like wendys offering a 300 sign on bonus. The people we know that have family working in these places are about to quit because they have to work massive shifts to cover for lack of staff. Some places are closed during portions of the day because they have to have at least 2 people there to be legal. Drive thru's, even mid size restaurants.

SO they won't come to work because they make more on unemployment.

This is bait for the "15 dollar an hour minimum wage" that will destroy small businesses and make all fast food places automated.

The federal government wants us totally dependent on them.

My wife can't get that special license to be able to fly on a plane. Why? She was born in the Philippines. They passed a law that if you don't have your ORIGINAL birth certificate you cannot get the license. All the birth records in the Philippines were digitized years ago and do not exist physically, she has a copy. Even though it was stamped she can't get the license because it isn't the original. So she can't fly an more.

BUT you can vote for the most important office in the USA without any proof at all that you are who you are. Because if you require an ID it is racism. And they can count mailed in pieces of paper specifying a vote for someone without even verifying it is real.

Chris I can't figure out if what you said was a poke or positive, yes I'm that dumb. But you have already said in a public thread you don't believe in God so throwing the devil in any statement is moot. This country was founded on biblical principles and defended with blood. In God we trust. It can't go on like this much longer something big is going to happen regardless of the media.

There is something else going on in the ATL. I think it is to draw off the other Bull $hit things that are associated with Biden.

"The devil take the hindmost" is just a common saying (in the UK, at least) that means that people are self interested without care for others - it does not mean I believe in gods or devils.

The problem with trusting in God is that not everyone trusts in the same God - in fact the vast majority of the world does not follow the Christian god.

I can see insurrection on the horizon in the US - just as the violence is erupting again in Israel - people of one belief in conflict with people of a different belief.

It has been the way of humans since forever - one tribe versus another, one village versus another, one religion versus another, the haves versus the have nots - it will never end.

Weird, I had a post, and when I clicked post, it was gone.

I deal with this all the time.  I ride this:

I get questions about my 'custom bike' all the time.  The only people that I have no time for are the asshole hardly davidson riders that think because its a Honda that means something.  It's about you as a person, not what you ride.  Scum, everyone of those rooster suckers.  I'll wave to them from in front as there isn't a hardly made that I can't walk away from.

According to research by MIT students of 2005, tinfoil can actually amplify mobile communication and satellite frequencies, including those used by the FCC. Based on these findings researchers speculated that tinfoil hats are a ploy propagated by the government to track the thoughts of US citizens. So remove your head gear...
