Stumbled across the site and decided to try it out...I applaud the intentions and look forward to consuming and contributing.  I'm three years into a full frame on restoration of a 1987 Ford Ranger XLT, strictly stock and very deliberate on using genuine FoMoCo parts.  I enjoy showing her off and will do my best to earn my keep and help the forum grow.

I love a good factory correct restoration. My buddy recently completed one on a 99 lightning.

Your truck looks great

Thank you!  I've always enjoyed the two-tone paint on gen 1s...also a black exterior, red interior combination.

Thank you!  You never forget your first!  Mine was a 1986 Ranger S...bare bones, black exterior, red interior.

Thank you!  I enjoy chasing the right parts.  Will certainly check out that 99 Lightning.

Thank you!  Gen 1s are certainly my favorite.  Good ones aren't as plentiful as they once were.  Mine came out of Tucson, AZ.

Thank you!  I'm looking forward to contributing.  I've learned a ton...some the hard way.

============

Here's the Marti Report with all the vitals.  It sits with everything listed minus the white raised letter tires.  I'll start a build thread to share the journey.
