It would look excellent either way on a black truck especially yours which is virtually blacked out any way, I would lean toward black.

What are you going to do with current rims and tires?

I think which ever way you want them is the best.

A vote, I would have them bead blasted, then powder coated black, maybe a semi gloss !

not yet, the corrosion is minimal and you can only see it up close. well 3 feet away LOL. I really like the alcoa logo's on them. BUTTTT if the white one runs well after I put it together I'll drive that through the winter and work on the green one.

I plan on taking the wheels and tires to  Wheel Medic  here in town. It will cost me like 400 bucks to have them reconditioned but it is well worth it. They machine them, paint if there are areas to paint and do the clear coat. The reviews on this place are awesome, I didn't know it existed till I hired a guy at work that had worked there.

I hear they do true high speed balancing and can do custom alignments also.

It's your wife's fault remember? She liked the old ones better. Yours are bigger too.

As you can see I've been playin with the gallery

I didnt know those were a stock wheel. Those look sweet.

my sport came with these. I like them but they are a B to keep clean because of the shape.

I've always wanted a set of Weld Draglights but I plan on doing some off roading when I can find the time. I worry about off reading on anything but steel wheels. If the FX4s came with factory alloys does that mean they are strong enough to drive trails? If I couldnt find a set of the FX4 wheels would the Weld wheel I have pictured be suitable. I like them because they are polished but easy to clean and are light weight and can help compensate for a bigger tire.

Here they are side by side. The first one is the factory alloy and the second is Weld wheels Draglight 15—7 I believe. They look very similar

I do know that the front end was wasted on the truck they came from. The wheel was obviously hit, the center cap was missing, the valve stem was broken off and there was a slight cut in the tire.

Since I had to have it de rimmed to have the stem replaced I had them spin it with an indicator... it was still dead straight. They are aluminum but I bet if a front end collision hit about at the rim THAT totaled the truck did not bend them that some simple 4 wheeling won't either.

You would be better off buying an off brand wheel that's a direct copy of a draglite. Weld draglites are a  light weight wheel designed for drag racing they will work on the street but wont handle a lot of abuse. Jegs and Summit both have there versions of a draglite that are made for everyday use looks identical and are alot cheaper
