This seems somewhat pricey but is original ford.

My seals are OK but the outside rubber has come un glued.

Part of me says just paint them or polish the aluminum.

Is this what they cost or are there good aftermarket alternatives?

Window weather seal

Is this the trim piece you were deciding to order? Did you buy them? It said one available when you posted and I need a set too. I was so tempted to buy them before you. Lol. If that's the right trim piece, now that I know what they are called I can order a set. Mine are pitted and look like someone bent them trying to unlock the door.

I did not buy them yet, I'm doing the door all at the same time... the motors, locks and the weather strip. Right now most of the inside is out, the carpet and right front seat are the last 2 things. Well I don't have the headliner out yet because.....

I can't get the cover off the dome light. Serious. I have removed at least 10 in the past couple years and I cannot get this one off. I'm thinking someone broke it one time and super glued it when they changed the lights. Kinda wish it wasn't there since it will be redundant because of the OHC light. The light looks better than a hole.

The weather strip was the same on rangers made after 6-1-1999 thru 2011. They must have accidentally ordered a boat load and had to build trucks around them. They ran out in 2011 and stopped making trucks LOL that last part was a joke but the fitment is the same reg or ex cab.

And yes if it is the black part not the mirror you are talking about that is what we are talking about. Freaking expensive little buggers!

Mike, Mike, Mike!!! Guess what arrived today!!!

Left and right window trim!! And they are beautiful!! I'm gonna hold off on putting them on. Once I have all the exterior back to mint I'll pop them on.

THANK YOU JAMMAN FOR THE FIND!!!

These are new old stock. They are the big black trim piece that goes between the door and the window. They come with new felt on the window side. As a brick mason I'm sure a lot of the window scratches i have came from sand caught in the felt. Now I need to polish all my glass!!
That's one of the old ones

When I do install these, do I trim this little piece? My friends 06 has this on still but his might have been replaced and they forgot to trim.

NP glad it worked out!
Black06 nabbed me a good used set, I actually need 2 sets don't know which truck gets them yet LOL. That guy has 2 sets left if they are really Ford OE (lots of people advertise that but vendors sometimes lie) I might buy one of his sets too.

Every Ranger I have owned needed them replaced LOL.

Isn't that the front and goes under the mirror? Don't really know.

The one in my picture is for the passenger side. The curved end goes towards the bed by the door lock

Genuine ford part!!! I've wanted these since I bought the truck. My passenger side looks like they tried to break in by bending it up at the corner. The dealer said they couldnt fix it and I couldnt figure out what to call it to find a new one. I was so excited when I stumbled upon your thread with these. Thank you!!!

Forewarning, these are easy, but a PITA to fit - DO NOT push in one place when you're getting to down far enough, you will "dent/bend" the alu somewhat.
