Yes on the Timkin's Bearings, I always ask for them when buying rebuilding kit, and there is always and option for them... just ask ! Most companies would rather sell you there other brand of bearings, why, most learn you will need to buy again real soon.
Sorry to hear of your plight Jamman, as said above, "You get what you pay for" and in curtain area of the truck, there is no reason not to buy the best".
