Dang sorry to hear
I learned that same lesson, the hard way.........cost me many hours fixing bad "new" bearings for my customers.
I fell for the Detroit axle thing too
Truth is you get what you pay for!

It is a fine line we walk, trying to spend $$$ wisely

Timken are good
Raebestos is good
Motorcraft is good
They should all last 100K miles+ with proper alignment

Others are not so good
