 The more I looked at the ignition box on the drivers side inner fender panel the more I did not like it there, so I made a bracket for it & mounted it behind the passengers side shock tower.

 That looks too close to the header. I would recommend a location in front of the engine. Heat is not a good thing near electronics.

 It is an optical illusion, the ignition box is 6-7" away from the headers. The headers nare down near the frame rail & the ignition box is up near the top of the shock tower.

 Yes, I have seen a couple. 65/66 & I think a 69, both times was in a Coupe. It is very rare to see one.

 I found one in a '66 Coupe, bolted in to my '67 Fastback GT.
Didn't think I would like it but it was and still is a great seat.
First and only one I've seen, still have what is left to it in the barn... was thinking about selling it but didn't know about pricing it; any ideas ?

 Since I have been getting comments about how close the ignition box is to the headers I moved it back to its original spot on the drivers side front inner fender panel. Now that the drive train is in & all hooked up it is time to turn my attention back to the wiring. I started hooking up the wiring from the Pertronix ignition box to the coil, distributor, temp sender, oil pressure sender, & the temp sender for the electric cooling fans. I also hooked up both heater hoses.

 Man, you've got to love that Ford blue engine block with the aluminum intake and chrome valve covers.  I am lost in the 60's when it comes to things like that.  If I were to put a 302 in my truck, it would be clean and Ford blue, just like in your picture!

 Since the new wiring harness in the Mustang can support up to a 120 amp alternator I upgraded the Mustang's charging system with a generation 3 (3G) alternator.

 Thanks Guys. I have to weld in the sub frame connectors I made, run the fuel lines from the tank to the engine,  decide if I want to go with one of the aftermarket EFI kits, or use a carburetor, purchase a battery, purchase aftermarket gauges, finish wrapping the wiring harness, install complete exhaust system, & test all the systems. I would like to hear it run before the end of the year.

 Today I installed the radiator, hooked up the cooling fans, & started hooking up the hoses.




With the radiator installed I have about 1" clearance between the water pump pulley bolts to the cooling fan shroud.

 Today was a rainy day so I could not do anything outside so I started wrapping the engine bay harness, & the harness where it runs in front of the radiator.
