If you are a road driver and don't go to the grocery store a lot you will never notice. Or I just noticed you have an extended cab, you would have to do a K turn anyway at the local Kroger. Buy a pile of spacers, pull the boot back a little and put a bigger one on till it doesn't hit.

The rings have a split in them no need to take anything off, the boot most times slides right off don't cut the perma-clamp unless you have to.

Huh I had no idea that those existed! I might have to look into that.

 Was driving my 2003 2.3 today, stoped at a Constrution zone. Look down to see the oil pressure gauge at 0!! Then it shot up to normal range. Get home. Two quarts later to fill it back to full. I'm gona go get some fresh oil and filter. Cut the old filter open and see if there is any metal flakes in it.

 Just got in the new bed mounting hardware to replace the old ones. Only downside to the new ones is they are Allen heads instead of the torx head but no big deal really

 Well new bolts and the clips are in and besides my bed looking horrible lol I'd say it's an improvement over the old hardware. I also drained almost all the gas out of the tank with one of those hand pumps about 12 gallons worth of 3 year old fuel is now out of the truck.

 Decided to tear into the inner and outer front bearings today. Gotta get these fixed then put some fresh gas in the tank and see how it goes. I currently have the drivers side done. Just waiting on my wife to get cotter pins Cuz the pack I had somehow went missing and then on to the passenger side

 To prepare for upcoming new tires I felt the scratched up, rusty silver steel spokes needed a little refreshing. I pulled each wheel, knocked off the wheel weights, sanded, and washed the wheels. I spent more time on the outside as I masked off the inside. I put a shiny silver coat on them. Due to possible rain this afternoon I spent some time with a heat gun to help cure the bolt holes.  I also touched up the rear drum with some black to cover up the rust. 

A little bit of redneck maintenance that is only surface deep but there is no more rust spots on the wheels. Three hours labor and a $5 can of paint. I order my new tires tomorrow before I hit the range.

 New tires that don't slide all over the place when the road is wet. I even did a full throttle start at a light and the all powerful 3.slo could not break them free. 

I should have changed tires sooner.

My boyfriend and I both purchased 2 new (used, but new to us) motorcycles...

We are gonna need a bigger shed..

I purchased a 2008 Honda CRF230L, and he got a 2009 Kawasaki KLR650. Both dual-sport/legal dirt bike style bikes. Going to start using them in the forest roads down here and to go on rides together. :-)

I am BEYOND ecstatic!!

 I put a 4 wire trailer pigtail on my little one. Need to pull something Monday and someone along the way cut it off completely. Maybe it was pulled off I don't know but there were  4 corroded green stubs sticking out of the loom.

Used my new crimper I got for Christmas. Got done, no right turn signal on the harness. Found a blown fuse, all is well.

Okay, so ArcticWolf and I went to Harbor Freight today to grab a couple of things.  I pulled into the parking lot and parked next to these other two BLUE Rangers.  Of course, I HAD to take a pic.  Talked to the owner of the middle truck, a single cab steppie and told him to check out Ford-Rangers.com.  Hope he does, as he was a great guy and LOVES his Ranger! Anyways, this was just too cool to pass up a photo op!!!  :-)

I hope you didn't JUST Crimp the wires !

Crimping works but as we all know DIRT gets in the connections.

Crimping works but as we all know DIRT gets in the connections...  future problems waiting to happen !

 I drove my latest one, the pumpkin. I drove it, drove it, drove it. Had it up to 80 today, absolutely nothing shakes.
Inspected the brake line, sure enough busted above the rubber line in the back at the frame. But I knew that.
I'm having a hard time finding a reason why the guy sold it. In 48 hours it has become my daily driver. The thing sips gas I'm about to check the gauge to see if it is working. Rides and handles better than any ranger I have owned. Something is bound to come up.
