The new ones should fit, they are all over e-bay and ford brand? Xcab short cab shouldn't matter, power window or no they were all the same.

I did have to bend them around a little and I squeezed them together... then knocked them down with my hand to spread them during install. Did you take the mirrors off?

I do not remember, where I am having the problem is at the rear of the window they keep popping up.

I like the console! No "Here are some stored coins you can break into my car causing 100's of dollars worth of damage for $2.75 in gain"

I got rid of my extra cup holders that change maker is next. What was that out of?

All came out of an explorer, the console was from a first gen Explorer. I haven't found a second gen Explorer with a shorty console yet in my junkyard travels, the seats were from a second gen Explorer, should be going in the truck today.

I solve the problem of anyone breaking into my Ranger, I NEVER lock it & leave nothing of any value in it. If you want the couple dollars of change in the change holder in my shorty console, take it. I have a factory stock radio & I listen to my music on a MP-3 player.

Better pic...that other one was too blurry...lol. Yeah, my dad was the ultimate cheapskape when it came to tires. He put 14" steelies on it after he bought it from my uncle because he could buy 14" tires for about $30 a piece.

**spews diet coke on keyboard**

Where do I start. Since I last reported in I put the bezel and a radio in (not the radio just a radio), put in the blue cluster I have been working on for years, a set of blue hvac controls, blue LED modded light switch and 4wd switch. Found out most of the wiring color scheme is pre 2000, there is no hot wire going to the cruise pods though the cluster feed works on everything else... and the antenna end is rotted off on the inside. I also fixed the door ajar switches after finding out the set with latches I bought were from the wrong year. Adjusted the striker on the passenger door also.

I dont have positive progress to report. But over the weekend I went to a truck pull and they had a mini truck class so I entered my 06. The negative of this is I broke my ignition key in the steering column. On the upside out of 15 trucks I placed 3rd in the pull off won $40. My wife has a video of it i will try to post it.

It just rolled over 130K.  I did a basic oil change and tire rotation today. The passenger side tires are wearing faster than the driver side.  I will service the transmission after I get back from vacation next week.

I determined by logic my 00 with the 4.0 ohv has indeed developed either a head gasket leak or a lobe on the cam is wearing down, possibly both.

Any way it goes it has to come apart so I'm considering all the options. I'm guessing it is at the 220+ mile marker and it has not been easy miles evidently.

This is the one you were not sure you wanted to keep after you found jalapeno, right? And it's your only extended cab so it wouldnt be a good parts truck cause the other ones are standard cab. Dang!

I put the original coil pack back on the 3.0 so I could use the brand new 4.0 coil pack I had on the 3.0... on the 4.0. Then I replaced #4 spark plug wire and put a clean plug in there again.

Last ditch effort to disprove the fact that the head gasket is blown between #4 cylinder and one of the water jackets.

If it starts missing tomorrow on the way to work the nightmare starts.
