I'm particularly interested in your number 3 though, may i ask what price you're getting, as he/she quoted ~$480 for two seats, which is crazy to me :(

Also curious on the water graphics, might look into trying something like that, but would like to see your idea.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner.

The Seat Covers are already purchased, but I cant for the life of me remember the cost of the Covers.  I will keep my eyes open fo r the receipt and post when I find it !

The Water Graphics are pending, I have the name of a Shop but it is an hour away.  As soon as I get up there to get a price I will post.

I am going to look around, still don't have everything out of storage yet... just too much junk. Don't hold your breathe !

If I remember correctly they used to be around the $250 mark for '03 Bucket Seats, FX4 with side flaps and RED Panels.

That's really annoying you were only charged that much, they must have decided to get handy with the charge, "well they're rare" yup, and cheap, no one will spend 500 on a 15 year old truck.

Morn'n,

70's all week, nice weather to work outside !

I know I didn't pay $500 for the seat covers but I do think some people would pay that !  My OEM Seat Covers aren't too bad, one little burn hole from a friend that borrowed my truck, AND didn't say a word ! (WTF)

I will have to check out Terry on eBay and see what is happening, maybe we can talk her into a New-Site Discount.  LoL !

What do you think on the Rims I posted ?

From what I can pickup on the Web the pricing for 17" Rims will be around the $200/ea mark and the 15" come in around the $150/ea/Tire Rack.

I little more than the other we rode a few years ago and 15" rims will work for 33" tires but not sure on 35" tires, so 17" may work out better.

Something to think about !

Too many other projects right now, for both Truck and the House, so things are in slow mode.

Then you must have more friends than I do I don't think I could get 3 people to push a truck with me in it :)

Hope it turns out good if there are any issues feel free to ask questions.

Yes i did - offered me a set of 2002 covers, brand new, or a set of 2004 material covers that would fit my 2002 seats, $470.

Prices go up sssooo fast on products people want, isn't that called price gouging.

I still haven't heard back from Terry, again, maybe there might be a group buy for the site... wonder who would want new seat covers... and who could afford them ?

Prices go up on things there is great demand for, and for things that are rare, but still in demand.

However, unless there are collectors, or people willing to treat something cheap/old with disregard to cost, it doesn't work.

Take the example i left, we're talking rare cloth, so sure, that will put price up. But we're talking suitable for specific Ranger seats that were only for a few years.
They're also for the cheaper seats, regular cloth.
We're talking cheap vehicle that someone just wants seat repair.

Basically, it's too high for the application, doesn't matter if factory covers were that much, you can't get them, and no one bought them because of the cost. Trucks for these are 15+ years old now, and again it's not fancy material.

Anyway, Terry seems to do good work, and does take up to a week to respond by email, so i think you'll have something by the end of the week.

I tried to hit the LIIKE Button MaD, but wait... oh ya there isn't one !  LoL !

Sorry Chris, I had to do it !

This is where a "LIKE Button" would be good, I like his response but my response  doesn't need a long typed thing, just a quick Click of a Button !

I found that once a guy does his homework (ie, goes to upholstery shops for estimates), talks to people, gets educated and learns just how much a shop will charge to do the work, and how *matching* fabric, if they can even find it for the vehicle in need and then if they do comes the matter of, are willing to pay what it costs per yard (it's not like going to Fabricland at the mall), that the prices Terry charges will seem like finding OEM seat covers at a 24 hour business liquidation sale. Dead serious.

I just put a limited slip differential in the '99 and now I'm going to see why the 4x4 isn't working on it. I'm planning on putting on Courser CXT tires too if I get the money.
I've also got to check the '94 Ranger because it's not coming out of 4x4 easily.I also need to fix the drivers door power window.
I need to fix the horn on the F150 too.
