Okay so I found the 2.5” ones for the rear but it says for front torsion bar trucks. Am I correct in assuming the rear suspension is the same in both coil spring and torsion bar trucks? Also, 2.5” is the highest I could find. Now, i have looked into “shock extenders” which bolt into the lower shock mount and allow me to use a shorter shock by extending the mounting point. Is that a viable option? The rs9000s aren't required but I love the fact that I can control the ride quality by the twist of a button. And if I haul a load, I'll have capable shocks without sacrificing ride quality.

yes rear leaf springs are the same
never ever ever use shock extenders
get longer shocks!
They make shocks for Rangers with 2,4, or 6" of lift for the rear
If you cannot find them let us know we will help search them out
I have rancho 9000's they are a very beefy shock and very good shock for the $$$$, the newer 9000's are like 2.5" diameter bodies they are large! I like the adjust ability also
