I used them to replace the carpet on my '04. The help smoked when they drove the truck. Burn holes ect and the smoke smell. After carpet most of the smell was gone,

I used StockInteriors for my '88 Ranger, then my '03, good products and they will talk to you.

If you take both carpets together you will get a better ideas of you can use the newer Carpet in the older Cab.

Thinking out loud, I don't really know for sure, but the only parts of the carpet that would change would be the edges, transmission hump can't change too much, the seat wells might be a problem...  can you do a Test Fitting ?

I don't know if you have the carpet, going to buy it, or what... but if you are paying for it then you want it to fit right, so take some time to compare what you can get used and how much, then compare to a new unit that will fit.  You may find the new one isn't as overpriced as you might think.

Luck
