It will work in anything you could mount it to the ceiling of honestly but the question i have is have you held it up to the curvature of the headliner yet and checked out fitment issues if any?

Any gaps could be mitigated by some creative sanding or filing or if too far from reality, does the 90-94 Explorer have any OHC to check out that are equal or better suited?

Well then some minor shaping modification is going to be needed if the headliner is off a bit unless you're willing to go for that cut & paste look :q

Actually I'd like to see a pic taken of the headliner from both the crease of the center of the seat aimed at the rear view mirror and then from the door lock nipple near the back edge of the door also across the top aimed at just above the headliner of your truck normal scale NO zoom (yet).

I have an OHC and visor lights in my 93' I did that I can reference too but i vaguely recall the headliner shaping in the 92> .

My only concern with this working (correctly), is the the outside temp requires a VSS signal that tells the OHC the truck is in motion. This allows it to compensate for temperature changes periodically.

May be able to be pulled from the ABS sensor.. still digging into that for my own needs even though I have the VSS attached to the Speedo cable coming from the trans. He may be lucky being a 92.. it may have similar

True. The temp will register on the OHC without the signal, it just doesn't update correctly, so makes it kind of useless.

True.. unless you wanna KO/KO randomly through traffic.. lol

I was gonna run the temp sensor to the Amp rack back in the day just for the purpose of knowing the temp of the Amp rack on the back wall but now being in the desert more so, I kinda want to use it for its intended purposes now.

I can always pick up a second display and hack it for that still if I ever had too.

Yes, you could utilize a second display to monitor your amp rack very easily. Have to ask: how many amps do you have in that truck? Isn't one enough? LOL

Well, it's true that 2004+ Rangers have completely different wiring systems. As long as you can get the required wire feeds for the OHC, it should still work.

I've done OHC, auto dim mirror and auto lamps (all at one time). Of course, my truck is a 2003, so it works flawlessly. I don't recall anything that would be different in your 2006 concerning these mods though.

Oh, just FYI, the BK/PK wire in that diagram is the same BK/PK wire used in the Parking Assist mod. :)
