I've seen 2door extended cab rangers with pop out rear quarter glass but not any 4door rangers yet. My F150 work truck is a 99 4door and it has the pop out rear quarter glass. Was there an option? Can you install pop out windows in a ranger 4door? I know it will probably need the interior door piece and hardware too

I'm pretty sure the glass is the same. You will need interior panels

Cool. I know how to remove the interior panels. From your experience does it look like a pita to get the windows off?

I have never seen a 4 door extended cab Ranger with the pop out rear door windows. I remember my first Ranger was a 1996 & was a 2 door with the pop out rear side windows. I do not think with out modifying the open/close latch that it would work, there does not appear to be enough room on a 4 door to attach the latch behind the window, plus how would you seal the window to the body?.

Some of the  2door extended cabs have them. They have a gasket on the window and flush up to the door where ours have the gap.

We just might be able to figure this out, my neighbor at work has a Ranger he is squishing, was a customer that gave it to him I think for a debt.

Has a 3.0 that allegedly runs well that's why it isn't flat. Also has a grey interior which I own now and will strip in the next couple days.

It is an extended cab 2 door and I'm pretty sure it has the pop out rear windows. I'll take a closer look tomorrow I could be wrong. If it has those I'll grab them.

Sweet saves me the trouble searching for images. Nothing like first hand knowledge. I think that'd be a cool mod and fairly simple I bet. I bet if you have all the parts and pieces it just pops in. Thanks JAMMAN

I know from my first Ranger that had the pop out rear windows it is sealed with a gasket, but the Rangers with the fixed (non-opening windows) have the ribbon sealer on the body that seals the fixed window to the door. I would like it if it is an easy swap as I would like to have them in my Ranger.

I do know that the fixed window bolts in and after you remove the glass from the pop out glass the frame bolts in also with 4 9mm nuts same as the fixed glass. I'm interested in seeing if they do interchange. From looking at both after removal it the window frame on the cabs appear to be the same

With your access, I cant believe you dont have every cool, rare optioned, accessory, bolt on for ford rangers at home just incase you have a whim and feel like changing your look for the day. Lol. But seriously...... I would if I were you. Lol. I'd have a sets of each wheel I liked. Back up interior, maybe in another color, stx bed and I'd grab ever factory light bar from the stxs I saw. An another set of runner boards. I'd have a mint set of exterior trim incase any of mine got damaged.

I guess it's a good thing I'm not you or I'd be livin in a parts house.

Lol. Was dreaming for a sec.....

Ok. Now you've got my attention. My jump seats are a disappointment because my truck came with the clothe interior and in my opinion it's the worst material for seats ever. I've never heard of or seen this roll up cover. Would love a pic of it up and down. I'm so jealous of your trucks interior. Lol.

I have the bed extender but I need to clean out the bedliner in the mounting holes before I can put it back in.

I found a really good picture of the inside of a 2 door ex cab with the vent windows. Looks to me like it would not work. Well the window would "fit" but the interior panels would have to be butchered to make it work and I don't think it is worth it. Probably why none of us have ever seen vent windows on a 4 door. The pivots for the jump seat are in a different position also.
