As some of you guys may know. I'm building myself a prerunner 2wd 4 Cylinder.

I've read up a little on using F150 springs to add more lift and a little more support for my (one day) V8 swap.

Anyone have any intel??

When I did the 5.0L Swap in my '88 / STX, I also lifted it so any deflection was minor, if I ever get to another 5.0L Swap in this '03 I wouldn't change the spring until I had a chance to check out what the weight would do to my existing springs... i.e. 750 lb. coil-overs.

I have never heard of the F150 Coil Spring but I will keep that info somewhere in my head when.IF I get to another 5.0L Swap.
Thanks for the info.

Ltr / Good Luck
