I get it... Can we please move on?

My '01 Bought new, maintained, has served me well.

After I got past the dealer warrenty  I took excellent
care.  Had 4 failures in 17 years. Right License plate bulb
and did a water pump last summer.  Rebuilt the front end
Ball joints and such the year before that.  Just replaced
the 1157  for the rear turn signal last month.

Still my daily driver,  Yeah,  Old rangers were real POS.
        Really?

There's a simple psychological explanation for your confusion.

You must be working out a sublimated quasi-functional fixation you've repressed to avoid conflict with your id and ego.

Not sure what the actual point is (got a good idea) but there are two types threads that are generally worthy of avoiding...

*General vehicle bitch/whine/complain threads

*Threads where people ask for help and ideas, then they bitch/whine/make noise about the response(s) they get. These are noteworthy.
