Every shop is different, you never know what they already have in the bays and what promises come before yours

Rockauto is not great, they are   awesome I have been using them for many years now. But shops also usually have accounts with the local parts places, meaning they can get their parts locally but at a big discount, so they do not need rockauto and those local parts dudes see rockauto as a threat.

Hoping this thing goes together smoothly!

I got my truck back, it was only 349.58 and they replaced a u joint at the front of the driveshaft, so that was 50 but just about 300 for labor to install a trans isn't bad in my opinion. There weren't any issues with anything other than the u joint. My truck shifts so smooth now it pretty much just falls into every gear lol, it's amazing. I've been tempted to stomp on it but I haven't yet because I was told you're not supposed to for a few hundred miles to give the clutch and flywheel time to wear together, so that's disappointing. Everything went great, and I'm so glad to have my truck back!
