Just got purchased an 02 Ranger 3.0L automatic, and was wondering what are some must do's and dont's for these trucks. Also, some modifications to help improve the truck.. inside and out for performance and aesthetics. Thanks

Austin, welcome to F-R. Depending on the mileage on your truck if the camshaft synchronizer has not been replaced that should be the first thing to get done. You should change all the fluids, give it a tune up, check the brakes & replace as needed. As far as mods, I added the blacked out headlights, Explorer overhead console, 06+ mirrors, crank the torsion bars to name a few.

What kind of mileage do you have? I have just over 125K and just did the upper and lower ball joints. Everything else has been standard maintenance items.
