Good!  That flatbed sets your truck apart from everything else.  I understand the need for the redesign, though.

Just wanna go fast kickin sideways . I maybe the ugly duck on the track with a unwanted chassis.. but the fact that I hang and look good ( my eyes ) doin it that all that matters So many have told me to put a bed back on and it would look so clean . But just cause of that it makes me love it more 🍻ðŸ¼ŠðŸ¼

Yes, it would look "clean". But the flatbed gives it that "edgy" look, that bad boy look, that "i don't conform to the norm" look.  That's what I like so much about it.

And for that I thank you brotha . Those responses truly feed me . At this point in life . I've hit a  transition  or fork in the road where I'm about to leap from my daily career ( working at Aamco transmissions pulling them out all day to do  exactly this . Building one offs and custom fab . My wife and me finally bought our own house . I've stuck with wrenchin on people cars that don't truly  appreciate the hard work and skills that I put in to their vehicles for that fact .now I'm at the age ( maybe young but rough young life at the age of 35 ) I guess  that wanting to be  fulfilled with my life .

Swappin the 1 piece shaft for a 2 piece shaft now . I cut out the stock carrier mount when I went to the 1 piece ,so now I gotta fab one up from scratch can't wait for this truck to drive right again . The bent shaft is driving me crazy only being able to do 60 mph or below

Just need to weld it up now and send the shaft off to be shorted a 1 1/2 inch's . Then I can rebuild using all stock ranger parts when needed

Well no pics but got the two piece shaft in without modding the shafts . The rear section is the stock v6 shaft . The carrier forward section is a 4banger section . Had to make a new cross member to bolt it to but no biggie . I'll get pic's soon . Tonight I got past 100 on the toll no vibrations or anything finally . It's like a new beast . Going to get new front runners in a gripper size . Looking at dual caliper brackets also for mustang 8.8's hoping the backing plate is the same bolt pattern at the truck 8.8's will have to do further research

Well since the driveshaft has been finished and all is
Good . Been knocking out the lil mods that have been on the back burner . Got those flaps mounted up front , got the traction bars mounted , replaced my speedo cable finally and installed leds in all bulbs but battery warning ⚠️ of course . Leds make it stay on if you don't know lol . I found that out on my own . Resealed the back glass and 3rd brake light . Welded up a crack in the passenger side header at the collector. Burned my set of rear 15's to nothing now and need tires fast lol the truck should be ready for its next event hopefully by my bday in April . I can't wait . It like I'm goin through withdrawals

If you click on the menu button at the top of the page, you will see "gallery" as an option, hit that, and you can upload your pics from there.

In there, you can select rotate if you need, and it will also allow you to add multiple pictures to your posts from there.

Leds in cluster . I got a expo cluster out of a 92 that I'm going to wire up cause it's mint and the color scheme on the cluster is different .plus get the stock tach working again and see what I need to do to get it to read right . Pastime I had it working with the 5.0 it was off by a few hundred  Just need to get pin outs of the clusters harnesses

Traction bar from a different view . Since the expo v8 diff has mounting tabs and bars stock just need to make frame mounts to connect them finally since rangers never came with them . Thanks brotha I'll upload to the gallery and fix them there

I think a traction bar would be great on the Ranger, even with just the 3.0

Obviously i've no bars, or attachment points, but i'm betting it wouldn't be too much custom work to do something.

Bars probably get at the local pick and pull for cheap maybe cut the ears of the diff since your in that area

Bet that's a lot easier to do now with the traction bars!
