71 ford Bronco

Restored 1971 Ford Bronco ranger edition. Body taken to bare metal and repainted in 2014. Just about everything replaced or rebuilt. Motor blue printed and balanced during rebuild. Block and crank stock but everything else new.

Approx 3000 miles on motor. AFR heads, 4 speed toploader trans. AC. Power steering. Power brakes with discs up front. New interior( seats belts carpet headliner and insulation. Too much to list. No free rides and no low ball offers excepted.

Possibly but here on the west coast.. people seem to be unafraid of putting some coin on anything. And being Henderson, technically Las Vegas.. people have been coming here for decades to throw their money away or lose it on top of it. crazy as that would be.

When I look at minimum wage in Michigan being like $8 or so and minimum wage in Cali now at $11 the people there seem to think they make a ton more money when totally lost that the cost of goods and services costs more too.

Do you know how difficult it is to explain to either side of people why people generally outside of the State of California can't or wont pay California prices for your products and at the same time explain to the outsider that the guy making minimum wage + a performance based commission for piece work isnt making $7-8.50 hr and more like $14-15 but still making minimum wages on the base check?

So likely someone here will spend a little less than that to close a deal but that guy will get his $35k out of it like he wanted.

Whether in Boston, Phoenix or So. Cali, $42,500 is too much for that truck. But like you said, somebody will most likely pay the price.

EDIT: I understand the cost of living thing.  People in NYC will pay $1M + for a 700 sq.ft. apartment, but they make 5 times what I do.

It is missing the one option that was almost mandatory - the duel fuel tanks. Dad had a 72 with a single tank. The 302 got 9 miles per gallon unless you put it in 4WD then it dropped to 6. Those trucks only came with a 13 to 14 gallon fuel tank. The optional second tank was about 10 gallons.

Dad traded the Bronco for a 75 F-100. He made sure he had duel tanks on the new truck as he was fed up with having to fill up the Bronco every morning and sometimes again latter in the day.

I had a 72 F100.. remind me to post pics of it later. I was mostly impressed by the all metal dash.. that was neat..!
Oh and the fact that the 302 that was in there looked about as at home as a Honda civic 1.5L in its compartment. I was like where's the rest if the engine?!

It's a nice rig, and a well done restoration from what you can tell in pictures. Other than those   ugly ass wheels. But $42k is more than a little steep. And at that price it's a road princess. If I had or built a Bronco, I would want to be able to take it off road. Use that 302, coil sprung front and short wheel base for some fun. For just on the road I already have a Mustang and 2 bikes in working condition. I don't need a pavement princess even if I was willing to pay that.

If i was the darker prick I am... It would almost be worth taking it on a year long excursion and be just rough enough with it to not break anything with a planned roll over and video and pics to show it and send it to him.

But I don' have that kind of money to just throw away.. lol

It's a hole for if you have a true 5 point harness.
