When I look at minimum wage in Michigan being like $8 or so and minimum wage in Cali now at $11 the people there seem to think they make a ton more money when totally lost that the cost of goods and services costs more too.
Do you know how difficult it is to explain to either side of people why people generally outside of the State of California can't or wont pay California prices for your products and at the same time explain to the outsider that the guy making minimum wage + a performance based commission for piece work isnt making $7-8.50 hr and more like $14-15 but still making minimum wages on the base check?
So likely someone here will spend a little less than that to close a deal but that guy will get his $35k out of it like he wanted.
