Why would anyone go through all that trouble to drive it 67 miles and sell it. There must be a huge flaw or a major disappointment to sell that soon.

I've been tempted to google V8 escape to see if anyone has tried the explorer swap on an escape. Lol. That and a V8 Suzuki. Lol. I was driving behind one of those funny looking Suzuki XO's when that popped in my head...

Couldnt find a V8 escape yet. Found a highly modified V8 Suzuki X90.
This is not necessarily the one for sale but you can imagine what you could be buying

This is an aftermarket conversion kit. Back in the day they made kits for the Focus Escort ZX2 and Mazda Miata. I cant remember the name of company but back in mid 90's they started making a conversion kit for the Ford Festiva to swap in a Taurus SHO V6 and 5 speed. Jay Leno has an SHO swapped Festiva. Back in the day of the old TNN on Saturday mornings there was a show called Hot Rod tv they V8 swapped a Focus using one of these kits

I wish these yahoos would quit stealing all of our 5.0 donor drivetrains LOL LMFAO

Miata with a 302 = fun
Focus with 302 = fun

But not nearly as fun as an off road vehicle! What do they do when the pavement ends????
Im way more impressed when you shoehorn a 302 into a Toyota pickup or an old Bronco II :)

More of the planet is paved everyday.. I know of a few roads that are nearly as curvy as the Tail of the Dragon, and a small v8 powered rwd vehicle is TONS of fun on them.

Back in MA, we always had fast cars on the street, (12.2 second Stang) but come November off the road they went, and out comes the 4x4s and/or a Wing... a Wing is a car that you don't care about you wing it here, you wing it there, and everything can get out of your way... great for snowy areas.

I did like my Focus hatchback, and I do prefer RWD...

Definitely a clean swap, by the pictures.
