Classic Monday. I rode the ElectraGlide this morning. I made it 2 miles down the road and radio shut off and caught a whiff of the magical electrical smoke. I pulled over and shut everything down and pulled the cover and hit the reset button. Everything started back up but the face of the radio flipped down like it was going to eject a CD.

The radio worked except the face was down and would not go back up. I spent lunch trying a few different things but no joy.

I stopped by Fry's on the way home and bought the cheapest Sony marine duty radio - $84 out the door. My radio kit will only work with a Sony.

I spent about 2 hours removing the old unit and installing and wiring it up. It passed the function test and I buttoned it up.

The old radio was 11 years old and was a standard unit. This marine unit is more water resistant and has a higher output.

WTF is a "bomb cyclone" another term the weather people made up to hype up stroms?. At least where we are in southeast NJ we are predicted to only get 2-4" of snow where the northeast part of NJ can get 10-14".

Well, picked up my daughters taurass. Went to drive away and breaks felt funny. checked master and it was empty. They changed the rear driver axle assembly and had the breaks apart. asked for some break fluid and was refused because insurance didn't cover it. WTF. Had the new tires put on back and I happen to pull rear drum off to check break shoes sence the old one were put in the trunk, You would not believe what I found. The rear cylinder was missing a piston that opens the shoes and fluid just pouring out, again WTF. Again long story that would make a best seller if I wrote a book about it.

NoPower, you are like Rodney Dangerfield, it seems like you get no respect at all.

Dustin I see a supercharger in that first pic :)

Mike my wife has a friend in monroe new york that got 26" in the last 2 days. We had some unusual road conditions here in Grove City, took me an extra half hour to get to work.

Yeah he is,I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley lol. A friend on 1 of the gun forums I use to go to found it somewhere and I copied it.
My wife had a flying squirrel for a pet when she was young but I think an albino 1 would be neater.

By "He lived almost 8 years" I assumed he had passed?

The ghost of snowball lives in Gantz park!
