Got my $1200 from the Republican Socialists Party of America yesterday.  Can't decide if the truck needs mods, the bike, or if I am finally going to get that tattoo of Trumpy on my ass....

yes we have all been stimulated, imagine that the government paying us all to sit on our butts and stay home
Sounds corrupt to me, sounds like forced welfare for all
I don't like being forced to do things
But if I am going to get stimulus $$$$ then I am going to put it to good use........... I plan to invest it, how about Carnival cruise line stock? LMFAO!!!! Think that would be a good buy right now?

The irony is, I don't need it.  I am considered essential.  So not only have I not missed any work, they told us 'work as much OT as you want!'  I am actually saving it, incase my son needs help.  His wife, a CVT, has had her hours cut.

you bet I will!! I have also been eyeballing Hilton hotels and AMC theaters......... should be a cheap buy right now!
I am curious to see what the new "normal" is like
Will there be concerts? Sporting events? Restaurants?

I think the farmers markets and flea markets, yard sales will be big again at first....anything outdoors will be more acceptable to start

I am seriously going to buy some stock, the market is WAY down and we are diversified we put some in real estate, some in assets, and some in the market, etc
Apple and Disney would be good stocks to buy right now apple has liquid cash looking to invest in something (Like purchase netflix) and Disney is always doing well even if the parks are closed and they were just getting ready to release 3 new cruise ships in 2020, now is a good time to buy Disney stock.... lets just hope there still is a "stock market" after all of this... sheesh

What's a CVT? I thought it was a transmission, so I googled it and got transmission. I'm guessing but I imagine your wife is not an automatic transmission.

No worries.  Like most TLAs, (three letter acronym, which is ironic because TLA is a TLA...) they can mean many things depending on context.

I purchased a new Pistol, 1911 A1, 9mm Loaded Springfield; easy choice, help the locals.

Took almost three hours to get it paid for, then the ten day waiting period.

Waited to get in, waited to be waited on, waited for the paperwork to be OK'd, now I'm waiting to get the gun.

Only ten people at a time in the Store, BUT all ten are looking for guns so the wait at the counter goes up.

One guy only want to look around for something to do... NOT, they had a guy at the door asking what they intended to do, didn't let him in !
Another guy wanted to find his friend in the store, pulled a freak show, Police got called in.

There was an incident in NovaScotia, some guy blew his top, shot a bunch of people, wondering if it was random people or just people that gave him sh!t !

The world is going bonkers !

Ltr all...

I used the mini excavator yesterday to build a nice dirt backdrop... something we have been meaning to do since we moved here.
Now we have 100 yard range...... out came the rifles! My son (10) fired four rounds through the ar (with a little help)
It was a good day!

A while ago I took the class for my concealed carry permit.    got busy and I didn't follow through.  I should have.  I never did decide what I wanted.  Would have to do that if I do it again.  Guns are a tool, and while I wouldn't want to have to use that tool, I think I might like to have it if I need it.  A buddy knows quite a few people in the fire arm retail industry here, could get me whatever I want.

Can't go wrong with about any flavor of 9mm. Big enough to make a mark, small enough not to throw you back.

If the ranges ever open up you can just go in and rent one. Try a Glock and a Smith first. Then buy a sig LOL.

I had a friend email me that he is having Quarantine Party... WTF !

He says we have been locked up long enough, we need to release !

Am I just dreaming, what are people thinking, for me at my age, I don't need even the slightest hint of the virus... man what is happening to people, are we getting desensitized to the problem.

Biggest problem is his son is married to my daughter and I can just go to a party where they are and not hold the grandkids.

The virus is still out there, lets not lose focus !

Ltr / God Bless all !

Or a CZ...

My wife has a S&W SD9VE.  Nice, inexpensive gun very suitable for EDC. It is quite accurate, and fitted with some Trijicon night sights, it's pretty hard to beat.

I have an XD9 Springfield, very accurate, lighter than the new 1911A1/9mm.

I have the XD9 loaded and at Bedside, who knows.

Anyone ever use the Springfield EMP 3" Barrel ?   Thinking on CC, it would be a great tool to carry.

Gov. Inslee has reopened Washington's residential construction. I spoke with my employer and he thinks we will reopen for work on the 4th of may.

Good to hear, Eddie!  I have been working all along because we are "essential".  We manufacture automotive parts and medical thingies... some that go on ventilators.

I have been driving the school bus delivering Title 1 free lunches. The county wants to make sure they get that Title 1 money for next year and they also want to make sure all of the drivers are working so we will come back next year. I have 3 and a half weeks before I hang up the bus keys for summer break.

Personally, I think the US needs to just open back up and let this   do what it's gonna do, or we won't have an economy worth reopening.
