Should have put the Ranger on the trailer and pulled with the Cat :fp  :P

I pulled a loaded uhaul trailer from SC to Michigan THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS with a 4 cyl Ranger with a stick shift. Bumper hitch too.

Not saying I didn't have to go in to second gear for extended periods of time but I made it there and back safely. Had the wife with me too, she remembers it all too well :)

I towed a U Haul trailer with my wife's motorcycle from southern NJ to southern Maine & back with my Ranger.

I always wondered if my Ranger would haul my Tractor and Trailer !

Thinking... in the picture, the Spring Hanger gave out.

Maybe if he backed up the Skid Steer it would give the back of the Ranger a little lift... LoL !

From a chimney guy, pull the fire bricks out and take the door off and those are much more manageable. Those can easily weigh 300-400lbs. You scored a nice one.
