Make me an offer before I fix it.

The motor ran but was making a really bad noise, didn't sound like rod sounded like busted flex plate. He had just put a water pump, timing chain, head gaskets, cam sensor, coils, wires, bunch of other stuff then it started making the noise which was sudden and had no warning. I have the motor partially disassembled I thought the cam screw had backed out and was goring through the cover but it was OK.

I was going to pull the 4.0 motor and put the 4.0 out of the explorer (not in the picture) in it to sell. After I rob the steering wheel and the grab handles. It has the separate seats with the shorty console interior is almost as good as my green one. Has the R6 axle (3.73 LS). I didn't let it run long enough to drive it even an inch the noise it was making so I have no idea if it has transmission issues or not. It was the dudes daughters truck and allegedly worked great prior to the noise.

I'm only half serious I really think it is a great truck and even entertained driving it next winter while I strip the green one to the frame and do a Nigel to it.

I have 2 separate problems. Slip yolk on rear drive shaft has an excessive amount of slop and left rear caliper hanging up. Me and the boy are doing rear brakes now. Calipers pads and rotors. I'll replace the drive shaft at work tomorrow

Maybe worth a look . pull the shaft out and tailshaft seal . Look at the bushing . If it's any wear in one spot then replace  . Can get one at the local parts house to replace possibly local . The seal for sure you can just to look . Only a few bucks . The bushing maybe also but that's pressed in . When doing both . Use some loctite. Put it around the orderside of the bushing being pressed in to the tail shaft and also around wear the tail seal presses in .

Nice . I've bent two one piece driveshafts over the last two years cause I of bein hard on him . I blew out to rear tail section 🤷‍♂️ . I finally went back to a 2 piece ( 4banger front shaft / v6 rear section cause of swap) . I had to make a new carrier crossmember since I had cut it out when I went 1 piece 🤦‍♂️ But now it sets flush with the frame like the trans member I made
