WRONG looks like it is just a pre order at the biggest dealership in Ohio.

Sucks. It is in production now but no solid release date? IT'S 2019 NOW. :)

My local dealer has had one on display since November. Not for sale but on display

I'm waiting on a bigger motor. I'll have the wifes CRV paid off 2021. Hopefully they will put the big 6 in there by then.

I'd rather see a v8. But with the power of these new turbo 4 bangers why do you need a big engine. The 2.3 EcoBoost in a mustang is 300hp same engine in a ranger is around the 260 270 range. Re flash the ECU and change the waste gate along with a few other things and 350-400 hp is possible. And with that kind of power and torque along with 25mpg I'll take one with the 2.3

I will fall over if that ever happens.

The 2.3 makes more power than any non v8 offering and it makes it where its needed

https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2019-ford-ranger-oil-change-difficulty/

And comes with a small price
Have to remove front tire and 9 plastic pins to remove access panel to have at the oil filter....
Some new vehicles make oil changes easier, some make them a real PITA

My money is going for a 410custom ranger!!! That'll be all the truck I need!! After that I'll be looking for a 2017 SS. Comes with the LS3, 415hp/415torq. I like sleepers.

Completely agree.  Power, torque, without the weight.  I would like to see a diesel, and the Ranger Raptor.  But either way, I'm not buying, I'm happy with what I have.

- I'm not sure I like what I see or hear about power !

Ford needs to do it right and build a Truck like the 80's and 90's... live axles, HD Trans and T/C..., to me this is a reworked CAR !
Disappointed... FORD !

Yes, I have heard that.  And neither is a diesel.  Doesn't change that I would like to see it.  Biggest reason you won't see the Ranger Raptor here is price.  It starts getting back into F150 range then.  And that was the primary reason they didn't bring it back until now: a time when the F150 prices are getting high enough to slot the Ranger in below it.

Disappointed... FORD !

Ford hasn't built a half ton truck with a live front axle since 1979... and ford is the only company building trucks with a live front axle that isn't a 450 or above.
Should be build them with   drum brakes and no power too?  Jesus this Ranger has more power and torque than a 90s F150, gets mpgs.... wtf do you want from them?

Sales will be fine.  The Tacoma and the Colorado sell just fine.

Time will tell it would be if the ranger was priced under an f150 but they are pretty much the same price

Ford is confident enough that it will sell.  And there is enough of a price gap between it and the F150, about what $5k roughly base to base?  If Ford thought the Ranger was going to scevenge F150 sales, they wouldn't have brought it back.  The rising cost of the F150 is what makes the Ranger do-able.  A fully loaded F150 has to be above $70K now....

I just went to Ford's site and built the most expensive F150 I could figure.  Ended at $71,600.  But had the 3.0 diesel, not the ecoboost.  Man, that is a LOT of money...

It was a LTD sorry. He replaced the 66 galaxy with it because the 66 was problematic.
